🔥 FLASHBACK: SJBL Summer Boot Camp + Shannon Sandifer School Supply Drive! 🔥

A few weeks ago, our SJBL family wrapped up an incredible stretch of summer — from our high‑energy SJBL Summer Boot Camp to the community‑powered 2nd Annual Shannon Sandifer School Supply Drive & Cookout.

We connected, we gave back, and we kicked off the season strong as SJBL registration officially opened that day!

The Boot Camp brought out hard work, discipline, and major growth as our athletes locked in, learned, and pushed themselves every single day. Then our community showed OUT at the School Supply Drive — free food, games, big smiles, and tons of donated supplies like pencils, pens, paper, notebooks, and binders.

As our kids head back to school, we’re wishing every student a prosperous, healthy, and successful school year. Thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered, coached, and supported.

🆕 League Updates for 2026–27

⭐ Lil Dribblers Division Expansion
We’re growing the game in Smyrna! Our 5–6 year‑old Lil Dribblers Division now features separate Boys & Girls teams:
• Ages 5–6 Boys Lil Dribblers
• Ages 5–6 Girls Lil Dribblers

👧 Girls Division Updates
We’ve restructured our girls divisions to support better development and competition:
• Ages 5–6
• Ages 7–8
• Ages 9–10
• Ages 11–13

✅ High School Boys Eligibility Reminder
High school boys who turn 18 on or before Oct 1 are eligible to play as long as they are currently enrolled in high school. Proof of enrollment required.

These updates ensure more age‑appropriate play, stronger development, and a better experience for ALL SJBL athletes.

Our SJBL Summer Boot Camp was a huge success — packed with energy, teamwork, and growth. Big shoutout to Hooptown for hosting and supporting our athletes with an amazing space to train and play!

And a massive THANK YOU to everyone who came out for the 2nd Annual Shannon Sandifer School Supply Drive & Cookout. Your generosity helped us collect supplies, share smiles, and strengthen our community.

Together, we’re building more than basketball players — we’re building confidence, character, and community. 💪

SJBL Family! What an awesome first night of the SJBL Summer Boot Camp! Our athletes came out with incredible energy, effort, and focus, and our coaches brought nonstop support from start to finish — and we’re excited to keep that momentum rolling!

Hey Parents! THANK YOU for the incredible support for our first‑ever SJBL Summer Boot Camp. The turnout has been amazing, and your energy is fueling an awesome week of basketball and fun!

Because of the huge number of athletes, we’ve made a few schedule adjustments to keep everything running smoothly. Please check the updated times below 👇

⏰ Updated Schedule
Ages 5–8
• July 23–24: 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM
• July 25 (Sat): 9:00 AM – 10:30 AM

Ages 9–18
• July 23–24: ~6:30 PM
• July 25 (Sat): ~10:30 AM

🚗 Parents of ages 9–18 — drop‑off is encouraged to help with space!
