🔥⚾ 2027 NORTHERN LEHIGH MADDAWGS TRYOUTS! ⚾🔥

The 2026 season isn’t finished yet — we’ve got a postseason run to make! But once the dust settles on the 2026 playoffs, our attention will turn toward building the 2027 Northern Lehigh Maddawgs.

⚠️ PLEASE NOTE: These dates and times are currently tentative and subject to change. Emerald Playground also hosts youth baseball and Connie Mack programs. Should their postseason schedules extend into this weekend, we may need to adjust our tryout times and/or dates. Any changes will be announced as soon as possible.

For now — SAVE THE DATES!

Players planning to try out should expect to attend BOTH DAYS and remain for the full duration of each session. This will give our coaching staff the opportunity to properly evaluate players in multiple areas, including hitting, fielding, pitching, speed, athleticism, baseball IQ, and overall fit with the team.

Since the Northern Lehigh Maddawgs took the field for the first time in 2025, these six guys have gone deep and officially put their names on the franchise home run leaderboard!

🏆 #1 — Andrew Kabrick | 4 HR | 2026
Kabrick takes the top spot! Four home runs during the 2026 season puts him at the top of the Maddawgs franchise leaderboard after our first two seasons.

🥈 #2 — Kyle Marason | 2 HR | 2026
Marason brought the power in 2026 as well, sending two out of the yard and securing the #2 spot in franchise history!

💥 #3 — Jordan Shiffer | 1 HR | 2025
💥 #4 — Christian Burgos | 1 HR | 2025
💥 #5 — Tyler Prosser | 1 HR | 2025
💥 #6 — Brandon Moll | 1 HR | 2025

Our inaugural 2025 season produced four members of this list, and their home runs helped establish the first marks in the Maddawgs record book.

👏 Give it up for all SIX of these guys!

Every home run becomes part of this team's history, and these six players currently own their place on the leaderboard as we close the book on our first two seasons.

The standard has officially been set.

Now the question heading into 2027...

⚾️🔥 THE NUMBERS ARE IN — 2026 MADDAWGS OFFENSIVE LEADERS! 🔥⚾️

The 2026 season may be in the books, but before we officially close the chapter, it’s time to give some recognition to the guys who did damage at the plate this season! 💪🐶

From base hits and big innings to clutch at-bats and rallies, these Maddawgs helped fuel the Northern Lehigh offense throughout the year.

🥇 Paul Serra — .532 | 47 AB
🥈 Zach Palansky — .500 | 6 AB
🥉 Andrew Kabrick — .448 | 29 AB

🔥 Kyle Marason — .389 | 36 AB
🔥 Jayden Grube — .370 | 27 AB
🔥 Dylan McDevitt — .357 | 42 AB
🔥 Gabriel Burgos — .317 | 41 AB
🔥 Jamil Cirilo — .300 | 30 AB

Eight Maddawgs finished the season hitting .300 OR BETTER, with Paul Serra leading the pack at an incredible .532! 👀🔥

But baseball is bigger than one number on a stat sheet.

Every guy who stepped into that batter’s box played a role in what this team accomplished in 2026. We battled through the ups and downs, improved from 2-14-1 in 2025 to 7-13 in 2026, and earned our way into the MABL postseason for the first time.

That's progress. 📈

That's something to build on. 🧱

And we're only getting started. 🐶

Congratulations to our offensive leaders and to EVERY Maddawg who suited up and represented Northern Lehigh this season.

The bats are going away for now...

But the work toward 2027 is just beginning. 😈⚾️

🏁⚾ OUR 2026 SEASON COMES TO AN END ⚾🏁

The Northern Lehigh Maddawgs entered Week 1 of the 2026 MABL Postseason geared up and ready for a fight.

Saturday evening in Walnutport, we knew what stood in front of us: win two games against Northampton and move on. Unfortunately, things didn’t go the way we had hoped.

GAME 1 FINAL
Northampton 10 | Northern Lehigh 3

GAME 2 FINAL
Northampton 14 | Northern Lehigh 0

Defensive mistakes hurt us, and offensively, we simply couldn't get things going when we needed to. Northampton took advantage, swept the series 2-0, and earned their spot in Week 2 of the postseason.

Congratulations to Northampton, and best of luck moving forward.

For the Northern Lehigh Maddawgs, our 2026 season officially comes to an end with a 7-13 record.

And while this isn't how we wanted our season to end, there is a lot to be proud of.

Last season, we finished 2-14-1 and never had a chance at postseason baseball.

This year?

7 wins.
A postseason berth.
Our first trip to the playoffs.
Five more wins than a year ago.

We showed fight. We showed grit. And most importantly, we showed progress.

There were highs, lows, tough losses, big wins and plenty of lessons learned along the way. Every one of them will play a part in what comes next.

We didn't build a championship team overnight — but we took another step toward becoming one.

Now management goes back to the drawing board.

We know where we need to improve. We know what pieces we need to add. And with 2027 tryouts right around the corner, the work to build an even stronger Northern Lehigh Maddawgs roster starts NOW.

To every player who put on a Maddawgs uniform this season — thank you.

To our coaches, families, fans, sponsors and everyone who supported us throughout 2026 — THANK YOU. Your support means more than you know.

The scoreboard says our 2026 season is over.

But the work toward 2027 is just beginning. 🐶⚾💙
