One of my very favorite rustic weddings was at the John James Audubon Center at Mill Grove. Check out my blog for lots more pictures. Bouquets and bouts were full of lavender, textured flowers, and herbs. We used barrels and vegetables for the ceremony. Every guest table used different centerpieces. Half of the tables were made with hand-painted wooden boxes in which I planted flowering plants. We even decorated a naked cake! [email protected]

Hopefully I'll catch up with all of my weddings on this blog before I retire - which is coming! Anyway, this wedding was one of my favorites because of the vivid color palette and the creativity of the bride, Heather. I loved working on this one. Whimsical Welcomes has an artist who creates beautiful personalized items for our brides. She's painted some adorable flower girl buckets as well as some amazing wooden centerpiece holders for really affordable prices. At this wedding, she painted each side of a wooden box differently for our happy couple. I filled the box with purple flowers and placed it on a small table in the entryway at Knowlton Mansion. What a beautiful way to greet guests! If you're looking for a florist, we have so many ways to personalize your wedding. And in the process, you end up with a beautiful keepsake. The bouquet shown above on my page, is the bouquet the bride carried at her wedding at Manufacturer's Country Club. It's one of my favorites! Just in time for the sweltering heat, a beer themed wedding! So much fun to work on with such a totally enjoyable couple! They were great. I have finally gotten around to adding to my blog with one of my very favorite weddings at the Free Library of Philadelphia. I used three different table designs, but this one was the one I was most proud of. Glenn was able to carve out thick books for me so that I could fit an insert inside it and then fill it with flowers. Check out my blog to see the other two kinds of centerpieces I designed. Now is as good a time as any to blog about Michelle and Jordan's wedding since it was in the LOVE section of today's Inquirer. What a wonderful surprise to see Whimsical Welcomes mentioned when I sat down to read the morning paper. Michelle loves baby's breath so we heavily incorporated it into the bouquets mixed with pink flowers. Jordan's boutonniere was made up of white lisianthus while groomsmen matched the bridesmaids' alstromeria. I thought the bouquets were so pretty - soft and romantic. Thank you to Michelle and Jordan for having me help with your wedding flowers! And thanks for the acknowledgment!
