The Dirtbags were well represented this past weekend at the 10U and 11U Little League State Tournament in Sioux Falls. Congrats to the 10U NL squad for taking home the championship!

As we close the chapter on an unforgettable season, it's hard to put into words just how proud we are of this group.

The 2026 Sioux Falls Dirtbags finished with a 33-10 record, winning 3 tournaments, runner up in 1 tournament, and lost in the semis twice. We competed against teams from 8 different states including: South Dakota, North Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska, Wisconsin, Illinois, and Montana. Every tournament, every road trip, and every game challenged us to be better—and this team answered the call time and time again.

But as impressive as the wins were, this season was never just about the record.

It was about the early mornings, the long weekends on the road, the laughs between games, the dugout vibes, the friendships that grew stronger with every tournament, and the memories that these boys will carry with them long after the final out.

Watching this team grow—not only as baseball players but as teammates and young men—has been the greatest reward of all.

To our players: Thank you for your effort, your toughness, your coachability, and for representing the Dirtbags with class every time you stepped onto the field. You made this season one we'll never forget.

To our coaches: Thank you for the countless hours, the planning, the patience, and the passion you poured into these kids. None of this happens without your commitment.

To our parents, families, and fans: Thank you for every mile traveled, every hotel stay, every chair set up behind the fence, every cheer, every word of encouragement, and every sacrifice you made to give these boys an incredible summer. Your support means more than you know.

The season is something to be proud of, but the relationships we've built and the memories we've made are what we'll remember most.

Was great to see former Dirtbag Nixon Lee come out and support the squad! And shout out to Jevin Wagoner for hitting the first over the fence homerun in Dirtbag history with his 2-run shot to left. 💣 🚀 💥

Dirtbags are playing in the Baseball World Series at the Sanford Diamonds in Sioux Falls for our last tournament of the season.
Pool play games today at 8am and 10am, and 10am tomorrow. ⚫ 🟡

We have 5 team rules that the boys are sick of hearing by now, but it's awesome to see a couple of them play out in real time during a game.
1. ALWAYS give 💯 effort.
2. Be a good teammate.

Dirtbags finished 3-1 in Brookings and now look ahead to the Baseball World Series in Sioux Falls which will be our final tourney of the season. Action starts on Thursday!
