i want to start off by thanking my Lord and Savior for watching over me and all the others involved in the horrific crash at the start of the open a main. ✝️🙏🏼

it was practically a fist fight in a phone booth with 16 of us going into the first corner. i don’t remember all the specifics but after watching videos it was a domino effect where one went down and 5 or 6 more soon followed suit. i was told i ran over someone and/or their bike before going off the track down into the grass where i watched a couple riders hit the fence and i knew in that moment i had to lay down the bike so i wouldn’t hit them or go through the fence myself. amazingly enough i stopped right before the fence, just a mere 10 or so feet before hitting a bunch of spectators. my whole left side took the impact, including my head unfortunately. my leg was pinned under my bike and it took me a little bit to get myself out from under it. my shield was broken off my helmet so i had to go get that fixed before i could go back out. i contemplated whether or not to go back out, but after some reflecting i decided that i needed to finish what i had came all this way for. i got an excellent start and was running third for a bit, and a few riders ended up passing me by the time the race was over. i wasn’t really feeling the women’s class either, and ultimately put my safety over being competitive so i rode my own race.

i have never been so happy to have gotten such mediocre results, though. i’m truly grateful i came out virtually unscathed, minus a concussion. my helmet and leathers did their job wonderfully and i’m glad i was able to make it home on my own last night. 🤕

this happened to be our last race of the season, which i am glad i was able to run the few that i did. i proved to myself that i still have the speed i did before, and even gained some confidence that i lost from my previous wreck a few years ago that put me in the hospital.

once again i must thank my little team for helping me out all year with everything and most importantly the man upstairs for keeping me safe!

good times were had this past weekend. i grabbed another win 🥇at lonetree even after doing some 🦑 s**t in the womens main! 😂 got 4th in the pro am after battling with the front runners and ultimately settling for the position i was in.

thanks to the team for another great outing and to kuik racing for the sweet pic from the last race!! 🏆

from the couch to the top of the box baby!! 🥇🏆

this weekend was a huge confidence booster for me. i have not been on a bike in over a year now as i have been focused heavily on my spartan training and running. i came into the weekend not knowing what was to come and having little to no expectations.

practice and the heats were merely to shake the rust off. the track was very dry and visibility was little to none at times so i was riding pretty timid. i managed to pull a holeshot and win one heat but a rookie mistake led me fighting at the back of the pack in the other one.

by the time the mains rolled around, the moisture had come up from the track and it was in mint condition. i pulled the holeshot in the women’s and led the race from start to finish!!! i was super stoked to win my first race back. i didn’t have much time to celebrate, as i had to go right back and line up for the pro am. to much surprise, i got a really good start and was third going into the first corner. the entire race i was on the tail end of second place, trying to find a way around but ran out of steam & talent honestly.

i couldn’t be happier with how the night went, and to solidify that i’m still just as fast as i was before! i reallt missed the feeling of getting back on the bike and driving it in like i was, it truly feels like i never went anywhere!!

ending the night with a 🥇 and a 🥉 was truly bittersweet. it was one of the most fun times ive had racing in a while and felt like old times. i can’t say for certain when my next race is, but i guarantee it won’t be as long of a break in between! 😜

not much to say about sturgis this past weekend with the steve nace promotions all star national. the track changed every time i went on it, and i struggled to get comfortable. it was a learning experience and i will take it and run with it. onto the next ✊🏼🏁

racing in billings on saturday was an absolute dream. the hospitality i was met with while i was there was unlike any other track ive been to.

i adapted quickly to the smaller size track and different surface, and was pretty much dialed in after practice. it didn’t take long for the south dakota girl to start turning heads. in the heat races, i got 2nd in the 450 pro, 1st in 450 am, and 1st in the women’s. i had numerous other racers from Washington, Montana, and west river SoDak coming up to me to introduce themselves and complimenting my style and performance.

i finally got to meet the ceo of RASE, Michael Marsh, and he was gracious enough to sponsor me after recognizing my potential. which is a huge honor as he has sponsored a lot of big names in the industry. i am excited to represent him going forward.

i got to catch up with the voice of AFT, Scottie Deubler, who was announcing the races. he had nothing but good things to say, which was another great honor. he had the grandstands cheering every time i was up to race.

main event time rolled around, and i was very motivated to keep the momentum going. my new dunlop tire had me hooked up and i got great starts all day and night. i was second going into the first corner of the pro main, and ran out of steam after all those laps in the 100 degree heat and got third in that. they scored my other two mains off of the heats, so i ended up winning the women’s and 450 am.

i’m very happy with my results, the facility, and the people i met, and i am very much looking forward to going back soon.
