Really proud of Mariah and Derrick after the Lincoln Marathon this weekend.

Mariah came away with a big PR on her Zenith Endurance debut in the marathon. Well-earned after the block she put together.

Derrick had a tough day and made the call to step off at mile 18. That’s never easy, but it’s part of the marathon sometimes. Doesn’t change the work that went in or the fitness that’s there.

Days like this are a reminder that it’s not always about the perfect outcome. It’s about showing up, putting yourself out there, and building over time. This was a really solid block for both of them, and we’ll keep stacking from here!

We had the privilege of hosting an evening of community track with last week.

Coach .ettel led the education, , .ontherun and helped guide warms ups and put in a few laps themselves.

We also got to share a bit about and gave the athletes a chance to experience the Nucleo 2 and Cellula 2 first hand.

When she's not out there putting in miles, Lauren serves professionally as a mental health therapist. She plays a crucial role on the team by providing mindset coaching to the athletes on Zenith Endurance as well as other community members via 605 Running Company.

Reintroducing Head Coach, .ettel

As Head Coach and founder of Zenith Endurance, Derrick works with post-collegiate runners pursuing high-level competition, helping them build the structure, consistency, and professionalism required to keep progressing beyond the collegiate level.

His coaching centers on doing the fundamentals well over time. Consistent training, attention to detail, and a clear, intentional approach to development is key. He believes that performance at a high level isn’t about shortcuts, but about stacking quality work and making steady, disciplined progress.

Through his work with Zenith Endurance, Derrick is helping build an environment where athletes are supported not just in training, but in learning how to operate as professionals. Think balancing performance, lifestyle, and long-term growth in the sport.

At the core of his approach is a simple goal: help athletes reach their potential by committing fully to the process. It’s about creating clarity, building trust in the process, and helping athletes take ownership of their progression. The goal is to develop not just stronger runners, but more complete athletes who understand what it takes to perform at a high level.

When the process is right, performance follows.
