I could barely leave my couch for the past 3 weeks. I tried to go for a walk yesterday and needed my son to come pick me up. So I don't think I'm being dramatic to say by some literal miracle I walked 4 miles today.
I've never felt more grateful to be alive. 🌞

I always hike on my birthday, but this year I rented a cabin and stayed for 3 nights. It was high 90s so I hiked early in the morning, took afternoon naps, and enjoyed the quiet solitude of the forest at night.
