Help us wish a big HAPPY BIRTHDAY to #15 Brandon Minnick! 🎂🔥

The youngest of the group, just turning 10, but already making his mark in a big way. Brandon has been competing at the 11U level with STX Select and is currently playing Majors (12U) in Little League; and he proves every single game that he belongs right there with the big boys. 💪⚾️

He may be quiet, but his game speaks loud. A quick, left-handed athlete who gets it done wherever he’s needed, whether it’s locking it down in the outfield, holding it strong at first, or taking control on the mound. 🙌

And if you’ve seen him on the bases, you already know… when that cap flies off and the blonde hair’s flowing, he’s making something happen!🏃🏼💨🔥

We’re proud of the way Brandon continues to compete, grow, and represent STX Select. The future is bright!

Pool play is HERE and STX Select 12U is ready to get after it this weekend!

With Little League in full swing for most of our boys, the grind doesn’t stop — these athletes are putting in work everywhere and still showing up ready to compete in weekend tournaments. That’s dedication. That’s heart. 💪

Bracket play for Sunday will be determined by Saturday’s results… so it’s all about setting the tone early and coming out STRONG.

STX Select is looking to add a few experienced 12U players to our roster!

We’re continuing to build a strong, competitive group focused on development, teamwork, and a true love for the game. With 14+ years of coaching experience, our program is dedicated to helping athletes grow both on and off the field while supporting multi-sport players.

What to expect:
• Two weekly practices in Sinton
• Competitive tournament schedule
(targeting 2 per month)
• Reasonable, low monthly dues
• A positive, structured, team-first environment

Catchers are highly encouraged to reach out!

From day one, these two have brought respect, dedication, and love for the game every time they step on the field. Not just to their coaches and teammates, but to the game itself.. and that never goes unnoticed. 🙌⚾️

Josh and Zack are the definition of well-rounded ballplayers. Smooth in the field; from solid plays at short to strong work at first, and delivering clutch hits at the plate, they always find a way to make an impact.

What really sets them apart is how well they play together. The chemistry, the energy, the connection, it’s something special. This duo makes each other better, and it shows every game.

With little league kicking off, players grinding in multiple sports, and holidays keeping everyone moving… things may have slowed down a bit, but don’t get it twisted.

We’re not going anywhere.

STX Select 12U is BACK this Sunday and ready to compete. These boys have been putting in the work, staying ready, and now it’s time to show up and show out.

So proud of our STX Select 12U boys today 👏🔥

They battled their way to the Championship game and finished as Finalists, and what a run it was!

Big win in pool/bracket play to punch their ticket to the ‘ship, with the bats coming alive and attitudes LOCKED IN when it mattered most. The energy, hustle on the bases, and fight these boys showed all day was something to be proud of. They never quit.

Shoutout to our pitchers and defense for competing hard, and to the offense for stepping up when we needed it.

And a HUGE congratulations to Colby, our MVP of the day 🏆
Focused. Great attitude. Played the game the way it’s meant to be played. Absolute leader out there.

Championship Sunday looks good on these boys.

Great sportsmanship on both sides, an awesome atmosphere, and exactly the kind of reps and competition these boys need to keep growing.

It was a hard-fought game from start to finish, with STX Select edging it out by just one run, but more than anything it was a win for the kids, the game, and the love of baseball.

One of the youngest of the bunch, but don’t let that fool you, Joshua knows exactly how to keep up with the older boys. Always playful, always joyful, and always rocking that big smile, he brings nonstop positive energy to the field. 😄⚾️

With the long hair flowing and that island vibe, it’s easy to see why we call him the Flyin’ Hawaiian 🌺💨 Full of surprises every time he plays, right-handed fielder, left-handed batter, and always ready to make something exciting happen!

An awesome kid all around, and we’re proud to have him in the STX Select family.

Big J has been with STX Select since day one, and he’s the definition of a true ballplayer. One of those athletes who can play anywhere you put him, dominate on the mound, and be even more dangerous at the plate. 💣⚾️

One thing’s for sure, Jay will make a play. Whether it’s a big moment or a routine one, he shows up and gets it done every time. That consistency, effort, and love for the game is what sets him apart.

Happy Birthday, Big J! Proud to have you rocking STX colors since day one. Keep grinding! 🔥
