Man what a weekend!! We are finally able to find some speed! After a strong run on Saturday we decided to motor down to Elma on Monday and get some more track time and try some things. Started p3 in the heat and finished p1. We had favorable track position for the main starting p2. Had a good couple laps with Scott Miller before taking the lead. Held on for 21 laps till an untimely caution came out. My raceceiver wasn’t working and luckily I saw the lights go out on the back straightaway, or I wouldn’t have went and probably would have got run over. Had an exciting 3 laps with 4 of us fighting for the win! Ended up p2 after some awesome side by side racing with Tyson.

Track was awesome and plenty racey! I had Bryson only with me which was awesome! He got to help me get in the car with bringing me my helmet and got to back me out a couple of times! He had a blast!

Huge thanks to my dad, Mike, Leroy, and Kevin Frye at the track! Also a big shout out to TBJ for some helpful advice before the race!

Unsure on our plans for the next race, but we will keep you posted! For sure we will be back at Skagit on the 4th of July.

We parked it last night!! Led the race from lap 2. Had lots of challenges at the end but was able to hold them off for our first win of the year! Hats off to Cole Logan and Adam Holtrop for running me clean those last 5 laps! Also a huge thanks to Mel Decker for a little something extra after the race was over!

Thank you to my wife Ashley for all your support and taking care of the kids while I go race! I’m glad they were all there last night, and to see all their excitement after the race! My wife has worn many hats this season and I couldn’t do it without you honey.

Thank you to my dad for all your setup help and advice! Couldn’t have done it without you! As well as Leroy, Mike, and Lou for pit help last night!

Well we had a decent weekend at Grays Harbor Raceway last weekend. Saturday we went backwards one spot in both of our stacked heat races. Each time we hit the track we utilized it to change some things on the car. Ran the B main and finished 2nd to transfer into the A main. We finished 20th after struggling all 30 laps.

Sunday we made some more changes and started on the pole of our first heat and finished 2nd behind Bricen James. The car finally started to come to life after I started driving the hell out of it. Second set of heats we went 7-2. This locked us into the redraw where we would start 8th for the A-main. We ran a clean race and fell back to 13th. The car was good, driver not so much, but we made the car better everytime we hit the track!

All in all I’m gaining more confidence behind the wheel and I am very excited to get back to Skagit for our next race on June 13th!

I cannot thank Brad and Andy enough for their help all weekend, and Brandon for jumping in when needed!

Ashley is a freaking rockstar as always. Washing the car, taking care of the kids, the trailer, everything. I couldn’t do this without you! The kids were troopers all weekend and I think had a blast!
