Attention Silverdale families;

This is situation that occurred on another field please be aware at all times.
Copied and pasted from north Perry.

North Gator Perry Bulletin

A police report has been filed following a serious incident at Chris Gordon Field. Local law enforcement has been notified and patrol units are aware.

During practice, a child in the dugout was approached by an unknown adult male who asked him to leave with him to play with his child. The individual then began walking the child up the hill, away from the field. The child attempted to return but was told not to.

A parent quickly recognized the situation, intervened, and called out. The individual disengaged and acted evasive when approached. When questioned, he stated he was at the park with his wife and child. The woman was not present during the initial interaction and only exited a nearby vehicle after the man was confronted. The individuals left the area shortly after. The child is safe.

Descriptions provided:

Adult male: over 6 feet tall, dark hair with some gray, tan/darker skin tone
Adult female: shorter, dark hair, tan/darker skin tone
Child with them: young boy, blonde hair

If you have any information related to this incident or observed anything unusual at or around the park, contact NP President Kellan or Baseball Coordinator Jon so it can be shared with the family and law enforcement.

Do not assume someone else is watching. Keep direct eyes on all players at all times, including those not on the field and coaches’ children. Step in immediately if something feels off. This is how we protect our Gator families and visiting teams.

Please be aware of your surroundings at all times .

Thank you,
SGFA
