⚾️HURRICANES 13U PLAYOFF⚾️

Tonight is the Hanover Hurricanes 13U vs the Diamond Dawgs 13U playoff game which will be held at 6pm, Dietrick Park at JCC, good luck to both teams and to all the players and family members attending thank you for your support this year and let's go finish the season strong.
The 1st year of anything usually has triumphs and struggles, but as long as you compete, giving your best effort, at the end of the day you learn that is all you can do!
To the players attending, thank you for your efforts this season, my job is to push you to be better than you were before and I believe we have been playing our best baseball at the end of this season!

We had another hot day, season high in hits with 10 and 13+ stolen bases. Very proud of the way you cheer for each other and have finally started to understand team play and no matter how good each of you may be, we need all of you to win a game! We win as a team, lose as a team, and fight as a team!

I just have to get some things off my chest....... First off, I am proud of the progress this team has made this season....

I just have to get some things off my chest....... First off, I am proud of the progress this team has made this season. Merging players from 4 different towns who have never played together, and finding out what each players role, was going to be a challenge. The measure of a team is based of wins and losses, but that doesn't always show the truth. The truth is we have messed up plays this season both as players and coaches, BUT.... We have also played lights out at times! The mental portion of this game is the hardest part to control, and this team has shown a lot of growth since the first game of the season! Last night that was on display more than ever, with the absolute horrendous job of the home plate umpire. Even when we started to let our emotions cause us to make errors, we battled and kept moving forward. Take it as a "lesson for life" as I said last night. Just know I will always battle for each of you, and I appreciate the way you battled last night! I love you guys!

⚾️Tough loss but the best game we played all season. We knew it would take some time to gel all this together, but I think we are starting to figure each other out. So many positives from today, pitching was great, hits were great, attitudes were great, team played together, we stranded 13 runners on base over 7 innings. That means we kept grinding and found ways on! Keep building each game boys!! I Love You All!!!! ⚾️

⚾️ The Cayuga Tournament had a lot of good and bads. We learned about things we need to do, and things we can't do in order to be successful. I believe in every player on this roster that if we play as a unit we can be unstoppable. We need to find the fun and love of this game! You only get to play this game for so long until it's over and we can't take for granted the opportunity we have in front of us to be great! Let's keep coming to play and keep getting better everytime we touch a baseball! Onward!!! ⚾️
