Bronze Bracket USSSA World Series Champions! It was an odd way to win but I’m confident enough that we were rolling today and it would have been a solid ending. Bronze wasn’t the goal but it’s a step in the right direction.

What a season we had, from tournament 1 in September, to today, we have come so far! I am proud of each player, the future is bright! We haven’t focused on winning rings, we have focused on player development and making these young men better humans. I know, we are on the right path!

Today was another sweltering day, and we suffered losses to two strong teams during pool play. Although we fought hard, secured the lead, and tied the games, we ultimately let them slip away. Our team has not yet delivered a complete game with minimal errors, which has been our downfall. We are performing well in terms of hitting, scoring, and fielding, but our opponents are simply doing more than us. Tomorrow, we will go in Bronze bracket in tournament play, a position that is quite different from our previous standing and our initial expectations. The competition has been intense, and our mistakes have been punished.

Nevertheless, tomorrow offers a fresh start. We wish everyone a happy and safe 4th of July. As soon as the standings are completed, I will post our bracket for tomorrow's competition.

The Boyz had a rough day on the diamond. Game 1, we made adjustments and just couldn’t finish. Game 2, it was a dog fight against a vet good team. They took advantage of our mistakes like any good team would. It’s been fun but we fell hard in the standings.
Tomorrow is another day.
