Jaylah will be a Senior for Sikeston Cheer during the 2026-27 season, marking her 2nd year on the team.

This season, Jaylah is looking forward to Sikeston basketball season. And her goal is to enjoy as much of her last season as possible.

Head Cheerleader Gelaiya McCray

Gelaiya will be a Senior for Sikeston Cheer during the 2026-27 season, marking her 4th year on the team. This year, she will serve as Head Cheerleader.

This season, Gelaiya is looking forward to competing with Sikeston Cheer for the third time, continuing to improve her skills, and making fun memories with her teammates.

A fun fact about Gelaiya is that she had a rap career as a kid with the stage name ā€œLadyLai.ā€

Meet Sikeston CheeršŸ“£

Volunteer Coach Rhylan Hillis

Coach Rhy has been involved in the cheer world her entire life, beginning All-Star cheer at just 5 years old. She cheered at Dexter High School, where she won County all 4 years, was a 4-time All-County Cheerleader, and earned recognition as an All-American Cheerleader.

She continued her career at Ole Miss on the All-Girl team, competing at UCA College Nationals and placing in both the Traditional and Game Day divisions. During her sophomore year, she was honored with the Chucky Mullins Award.

Coach Rhy now serves as a Volunteer Coach for Sikeston High School Cheerleading. She also coaches and choreographs at University of Tumbling and choreographs for high school programs throughout the region.

She is most excited to serve as a mentor and role model, encouraging athletes to believe that no dream is ever too big and that hard work can take them anywhere. She is passionate about sharing her knowledge and love for the sport while helping athletes pursue opportunities at the next level both on and off the mat.

This season, Coach Rhy is excited to help continue Sikestonā€™s tradition of excellence and watch these athletes grow, gain confidence, and compete at the highest level while bringing home a State trophy to the Bulldogs.

Meet Sikeston CheeršŸ“£

Assistant Coach Andi Rowe

Coach Andi is thrilled to be joining the Sikeston Cheer coaching staff as Coach Toryā€™s Assistant Coach.

Coach Andi was a Sikeston High School Cheerleader from 2005 to 2008. After graduating college, she returned to Sikeston to pursue her passion for education and currently teaches first grade at Lee Hunter Elementary. She also previously coached Sikeston All Starz cheer for two seasons before taking time away to focus on raising her family.

Now that her children are school-aged and actively involved in sports of their own, she is excited to return to the cheer world and work alongside a talented group of athletes.

Coach Andi believes in setting high expectations and encouraging these Bulldog athletes to excel both academically and athletically.

Her goal is to help strengthen the Sikeston cheer program, foster a positive and hardworking team culture, and compete at the highest level as the Bulldogs strive to bring home more first-place state titles.

Coach Andi canā€™t wait to get started and is looking forward to an amazing season!

Meet Sikeston CheeršŸ“£

Head Coach Tory Hillis

Coach Tory Hillis has been involved in cheerleading for most of her life. A former Sikeston High School cheerleader, she continued her career at the collegiate level before opening her first All-Star cheer gym in 2007.

Over the years, she has grown that program into what is now the University of Tumbling, home to a highly competitive All-Star cheer and tumbling program that continues to develop athletes across Southeast Missouri.

As Head Coach of Sikeston Cheer, Coach Toryā€™s mission is to help every athlete reach their full potential while building confidence, discipline, and leadership skills that extend far beyond the mat. Whether their future includes collegiate cheerleading, a successful career, or any path they choose, her goal is to help them believe in themselves and set their sights high.

Coach Tory is also committed to continuing Sikestonā€™s tradition of excellence and returning the program to championship form. Her vision is for Sikeston Cheer to be recognized as a standard-setting program built on hard work, school pride, and Bulldog spirit.

A lifelong Bulldog, Coach Tory is excited to return to Sikeston High School and give back to the community that helped shape her. She looks forward to building on the programā€™s strong foundation, fostering the pride and spirit that define Sikeston, and returning the State Championship trophy back to Bulldog Nation.
