Here’s a super simple way to portion out your meals—without needing a scale or food tracker.

It’s called hand portions. Why? Because you’ve always got your hands with you.

Need more protein? Use your palm.

Carbs? Cup your hand.

Veggies? Big ol’ fist.

Fats? Thumb size.

Not only is it easy—but your hand is scaled to you. That’s the wild part.

Julie is moving on, and I’m not gonna lie… I’m gonna miss training her big time.

From day one, she came in ready to put in the work (even when I threw in those sneaky finishers she pretended to hate).

She showed up.
She stayed consistent.
She got stronger week after week.

But more than that—she made every session fun. Always had a smile. Always had a story. Always brought good energy to the room.

And not gonna lie—her cats were exquisitely cool too. Definitely the kind of furry co-workers you actually want around.

She’s the real deal.

She runs marathons. She lifts weights. She does boxing classes, HIIT, core — you name it.

She’s one of the reasons I do what I do.

Because growing up, I saw firsthand what it looks like when someone actually takes care of themselves.

Knee pain during menopause?
Yeah—it’s way more common than people think.

And no, you don’t have to just deal with it.

A lot of women over 40 feel like their body’s just falling apart.

But usually—it’s not age. It’s just the wrong workouts (or no workouts at all).

Most of the knee pain I see comes from weak glutes, stiff hips, and trying to push through exercises that just don’t work for your body anymore.

Why "healthy eating" isn’t working—it's your portions

You ever eat really healthy all week...
