Well qualifications didn't go as planned, but 🤷🏻 The wind was a bit tricky and I didn't estimate or adjust for it correctly at times. I also switched a few things up on my bow and equipment: bar position, weights, and release (back to a trigger) again since Czech, but definitely all for the better. Being a para archer is much more involved and tricky than being an able bodied archer, yes I have been both. Each para archer requires different adaptive equipment, different shooting techniques, different bow adaptions, release aides, and the list goes on. You don't usually get to see those things or our struggles with our trials and errors because we don't talk about them. We just go out, give it all we have, and be the best we can. We strive to be "normal" even though we have so much going on medically, physically, and mentally. Sometimes the circumstances win, but we never give up. I roll into eliminations with a clean slate and ready to battle it out again tomorrow 💪🏻🦿🏹🎯 Man I love this game 🔥

Today's practice is done. Think I'm dialed in. We're creating early tonight because 3.75 his of sleep just ain't enough for this woman 🤷🏻 Tomorrow we have inspection and official practice in the afternoon after the youth shoot through the morning and afternoon. 🎉

From bow hunting only and mostly practicing at 20 yards to being a hunter on the USA Para Archery World Champion archer shooting 50 m! Wow! What a change a few years can make! Today we shoot at the USA Team trials in Ohio ❤️ This just goes to show that if you never quit and you keep going, learning, and building you can and will go farther than you ever imagined!

And we're on our way! So glad I get the privilege of having my stunning husband, beautiful daughter, and my awesome parents with me on this competition. We don't get to do this often, unfortunately it costs so much. So this is a blessing and I'm totally pumped! See you at USA Archery's Buckeye Classic in Ohio! Practice and check in is in just a few hours. Love these red eye flights!

Don't mind my chickens, just a lil distraction training in the 15 mph wind with 25+ mph gusts 🤷🏻.

4 long travel days, 10 days in Czech, 1 day long of travel for a family member memorial service, and I am finally home! So now we do all the things that haven't gotten done in those 2 weeks, practice, rest, recover and repack in a few days to do it All again 🤷🏻. That's how competition archery season goes when you are on the pursuit of the podium and the Paralympics ❤️
