The Shippensburg Area Midget Football Association mourns the loss of Kenneth Geesman, an original founder and first president of our organization. Ken founded the Shippensburg Area Midget Football Association in 1974, creating a program that would serve generations of young athletes in our community. Of all his accomplishments, this league was something he was most proud of.
Through his vision, dedication, and leadership, Ken helped build more than just a football program, he helped create a place where young people could learn teamwork, discipline, and community pride. The impact of his work continues to be felt on our fields and in the lives of the countless players and families who have been part of this organization over the past five decades.
We are forever grateful for the foundation he built and the legacy he leaves behind. His contributions to youth sports and the Shippensburg community will never be forgotten.
