The racing pigeon show and kit auction scheduled for this Saturday has been canceled. Weather reports are calling for 5-8 inches of snow and 20mph winds. New date to be announced.

Congratulations Scott Grant for winning 1st Place in Illini Racing Pigeon Club's Vinita 1A, our last race of 2025! Good way to end the season! Right behind Scott was Mitchell Brown clocking the next 3 birds who musta been climbing over each other to get thru the trap! 37 birds from 5 lofts were competing. Great speeds in a WNW wind of 14 + mph! Way to finish strong gentlemen!

This past Sunday Illini Racing Pigeon Club released 77 birds from Sarcoxie MO.
Congratulations to Mitchell Brown for taking 1st place in the Sarcoxie 2A ! Mitch placed 3 pigeons in the top 10%!. Right behind Mitch's bird was a pigeon from Jeff Smith. Congrats to Jeff for taking 2nd place! Scott Grant's birds finished in 3rd, 4th, and 5th! Good job gentlemen!

Next week is our last race for the 2025 Young Bird Series. The birds will be released in Vinita OK!

Illini Racing Pigeon Club released birds in Sarcoxie MO this weekend. Congratulations Scott Grant for finishing 1st! Terry Rhyne from TA Loft was right behind Scott taking 2nd and 6th place . Mitchell Brown placed 3rd and 4th and Nick Reisner 5th!
There were 8 lofts competing with 66 birds entered. Congrats gentlemen!

Congratulations Chad Compton for winning Illini's Springfield 3A race this past weekend! Chad took 1st and 2nd. Mitchell Brown was right behind Chad, taking 3rd and 4th place and placing a total of 6 birds in the top 10 places. Scott Grant had two birds finish in the top 10 taking 5th and 10th place. Congratulations gentlemen! The race started off with cool temps but reached the high 80s by noon. Tough birds!
