Our Venom boys won first place in the Shiner Fall League and won Silver in the League Tourney today. Proud of these boys! Now we get to work and start practicing since football season is over.

We had a great turn out for our tryouts this past Saturday. We want to thank all participants and their parents for attending. The Venom coaching staff has made final decisions on our fall season. As communicated at tryouts, we are posting the final roster for our Venom 13U team by numbers assigned to your player. The coaches have decided to take 12 players for our squad. We ask that we get a reply of your son’s full fall season commitment back by tomorrow afternoon. Please send commitment text to Coach Art 361-676-0131

The coaches have also decided to not fill a Venom 12U team this fall. We are focused on working with our Venom 13U team.

Venom 12U and 13U tryouts this Saturday Aug. 3rd 10am-12 at Victoria East High School Baseball Field. Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in. This will not be your typical tryout, it will be a 2hr practice workout and scrimmage. Please show up fully equipped to play ball.

Our tryouts for 12U and 13U teams will be held Aug. 3 at East High School Baseball Field 10am-12.

Venom Baseball is going through a transition with our current 12U team for the upcoming Fall/Spring season. Half of our current team will be moving up to 13U and half will be staying back to repeat 12U. We will be looking for competitive players to fill both the 12U and 13U rosters. These teams will not chase rings but will compete against the best this state and surrounding states have to offer. We will be hosting tryouts Aug. 3rd. Four days of baseball and eight games later Venom are the SW Louisiana USSSA World Series Champs!!

USSSA SW Louisiana World Series Day 1 - Skills competition complete. Our Venom Boys competed in three events and here are the results:
1st Place Around the Horn
1st Place Homerun Derby
2nd Place Base Running

Pool play starts tomorrow. Let's get it boys!

Our Venom boys had another great weekend. We competed in the Easton Jersey and Ring event at Baseball USA. We made the championship game against a solid LC Dirtbags team. The boys stayed focused and won the ship 4-0. Thanks to our great parents for your trust in our coaching staff.

Proud of Our Venom boys this weekend. They competed in the Rodeo Round Up tourney in Taylor, TX. The squad made it to the ship against a solid West Texas Elite team. We came away with Silver. Good job boys!

Our Venom Boys finished the fall season strong by winning the Shiner Fall league tournament. Proud of each of these players! Special things are in store for these young men this Spring. Happy Holidays!

Shiner Fall League is now over. First fall that most boys played football and baseball practice was put on hold. We finished with a record of 9-1 and took Silver during league play. Proud of these boys for consistently showing how a great team works together. Big things coming this Spring!
