This past weekend we finally got to go and try out a M.I.R.A race. The race was originally scheduled for last weekend and we didn't think we were going to be able to attend due to it being the same day as our home race at The Saints Snowmobile Club but mother nature wasn't kind and gave us warm temps and the saints had to make the extremely difficult decision to cancel the race. So last minute we switched focus and registered for the mira race at Lincoln. But due to the extremely warm temps that week mira also had melting issues and made the decision to push it off for a week. That brings us to this past weekend. Again mother nature threw another curve ball and Friday they seen temps in the mid to high 40s. It was like a broken record and we thought "here we go again" but temps started dropping and the race was still on. Thank God! We got to the track early Saturday morning and was surprised on how well the ice was.

For this race we loaded up all three sleds. I was going to race the TXC 340 and the newest built TXC 440 "Pocket Change" while we were going to have a surprise guest driver Brandon Bell pilot the ole white 81 TXC 440. We wanted to try and give the ole 66 Ryan Wolfe with Wallace Racing a surprise and give him some real competition. As we went out in testing tune the surprise was still intact and only a select few knew both our fanners were on the property. It wasn't till staging our 1st heat race when Ryan noticed both sleds. To say he was surprised was probably an understatement. All in all it was truly to give Ryan some good competition and gave a great day racing with good friends.

With that being said the first sled up for the day was the 340. I went out on a huge limb and made some radical changes and had 2 new UNTESTED clutch setups on the sled. Was extremely nervous but the sled ran good and we finished P3 in the heat and transferred to the final. Made the difficult decision and swapped back to the old clutches for the final to try and get a better holeshot but after looking at data after the race we lost mph but still did OK and finished P2 for the day.

Next class was the Superstock 440 Freeair class where both me and Brandon would take on Rayn and his teammate Jake. Both sleds are very fast and Ryan at this point had a perfect season winning all the heats and finals in this particular class. Well He kept it going and won the heat. Brandon got P2 and I managed P3. Into the Final we go. Ryan got the holeshot but the four of us were in a tight group thru turn one and two. Eventually Brandon made his way around Jake and then I was able to do the same. A last lap red flag would throw a monkey wrench into the equation. After the restart we came into turn 1 with both Wallace sleds 1 and 2. Unfortunately we just couldn't beat them boys out of the hole and Brandon finished P3 and I took P4.

Last and final race for us was the Superstock 440 Fan class. Ryan hadn't had any real competition with the class all year. We figured today we might have something for him. Again Ryan came out strong but Brandon was right there. Infact was infront a couple times. I had a front row seat to this great race but obviously wanted to get by both of them. Ryan again had won every heat and final in this class and pulled out the victory. Brandon ran amazing but I finally was able to edge him out in the final corner and ended P2 and Brandon P3.. Congrats to Ryan Wolfe for the perfect season.

All in all we had an amazing day racing and a great weekend hanging out at the track with friends. Big shout out and thank you to my pit guys Gavin Guymer and John Murphy for hustling around and making things happen.

i500 Vintage shootout at the legendary monster mile.

First race on the new build (Pocket Change). Well it was interesting. Qualifying was scary cause the sled was extremely aggressive and darty. Made a bunch of adjustments and it was ALOT better. Took a 1st in the 440 Fan Superstock heat. Was nervous coming into the Final being we had to race the track record holder and past 2 year winner but luck was on our side and we took the P1 and earned the top spot on the box.

We were a back to back being the 340 Freeair class was right after the 440 Fan class. Qualifying we ran good and we set a new track record! Figured it was best to leave the sled alone. Came out in the heat race and we were out gunned and ended up 3rd. We had to make some changes but unfortunately they worked but didn't at the same time. We ended up 3rd overall and had a good time.

Have to thank my crew chief John Mary Murphy for the help all week. Couldn't have done it without you. Also have to thank all my wonderful sponsors.

Well we made the trip to Gladwin Vintage Snowmobile Races and knock off some ring rust. This was our first time touching ice this season. Literally have no test time this season up till today. Mother nature hasn't been consistent with the cold weather to get on the ice. And being busy with the new sled build, it just hasn't worked out..

We started off with the 440 Improved with around 18 sleds in the class. Was a bit nervous with the old fanner being that I swapped the motor back to the old motor and changed a few things from what I learned last season but still have a few things to work out, like a holeshot. Lol.. With that being said, we made the final and started out near the front. Worked up to the lead and the final lap there was wreck resulting in a red flag and unfortunately for me, a restart. The restart was not my friend and I finished 2nd overall.

Next class was the 340 Improved where there was a whopping 28 sleds entered in the class. Three heats and only top 3 sleds in each heat would advance. There was some fast sleds that would not be seeing the final. We made the final and unfortunately was just not able to step on the top of the podium and finished 2nd overall again.

All in all a great day. Can't thank the track crew at Gladwin for building a great track. And all the people behind the scenes and the volunteers like the scoring people, corner flagged and even the bad ass announcer we had to today Knothead Productions.

Also need to give a shout out and thank you to our 2026 sponsors.
