Our next Sunday Drive with Drive Collective is coming up on September 6

Drive Collective will open their facility at 8:00AM with complimentary Coffee & Donuts before we gather for a Drivers’ Meeting in the Showroom. Navigation will be provided through the Rallista , and a brief tutorial will be included during the Drivers’ Meeting, so no prior experience with the App is necessary. PNW Blitz will then lead the group, from Drive Collective, approximately 115 miles along carefully curated driving roads through the Willamette Valley to McMinnville, Oregon. Once in McMinnville, we’ll stop for an optional group lunch at Two Dogs Taphouse. From there, you’ll be free to head home at your own pace.

What. A. Day.
Our biggest turnout ever, yet somehow everyone meshed together perfectly and had an awesome time. 133 miles from Tualatin to Astoria on only the best roads with a crazy variety of cars and the nicest people.
Thank you to Drive Collective for working with me on this and welcoming us all into your space.
I’m already planning for and excited for the next one!

Today marks exactly 10 years since I bought this car. I thought it would be fun to grab most of the photos I have of it on a tow truck. These don’t include waiting for gas on an anniversary trip with Faith August, or Joe Curcie flying out to visit and having to push me down the road to roll it into a gas station. I often think about selling it, as it doesn’t get driven nearly as much as it used to or as much as it deserves these days. However, this car has been one of the longest-standing things in my life. I’ve made countless friends because of this car - some have moved away or passed away, but the car, the trips, and the memories are still here…all because I was awestruck by the E39 M5 after reading a story about Alex Roy’s record-setting Cannonball Run many years ago. I guess I’ll have to hang onto it for at least a few more years after all…as long as it doesn’t break down on me today…

Our most fun Sunday Drive of the season (so far)! 140 miles round trip absolutely ripping through the woods. Really enjoyed our time with Nate and The Last 1LE today. Still fighting off a nap after that burger and milkshake. Can’t wait to do another drive next month!
