Dwight, a former Sherrill mayor and lifelong resident, organized the first gazebo fireworks and played a key role in securing funds for the Sherrill Gazebo, a community events venue since 1989. The 3rd annual Fireworks Run will be held Saturday, July 26, 2026 in Sherrill, NY! The 5K Run/Walk starts....

Last year, some proceeds from the Sherrill Fireworks Run benefited the VVS Cross Country and indoor/outdoor Track & Field programs.

This past November, the VVS boys XC team were Section 3 Class B Champions!! Amazing job! 🏃🏻🎉❤️🏃🏻
