The team struggled this weekend on Day 1 of the High School Open “For the Love of the Game Classic” in Peoria, Illinois.

As a result, Day 2 we weren’t able to start off the bracket where we wanted. With a little motivation, tons of drive, and a whole lot of effort, the girls battled back in the field with our pitchers collecting 55 STRIKEOUTS in 7 games😮 and only a handful of misplayed balls on Day 2. The bats came alive and landed us a ticket to the championship game where we fell short by one run in the last two minutes of the game.

The girls earned every bit of their 2nd place finish this weekend.

It was a great weekend for the girls in Columbia, Mo!!! Thank you to all the Families and Friends that came out to support, we couldnt have done it without you!!!

We took the field at the PG College Campus Softball Series “Rumble at the Zou” battling through the bracket and walking away with 2nd place after 6 games!
In between those games the girls were able to get some R & R with a team brunch followed by a Mizzou vs Georgia game at the University of Missouri!
