Today didn’t end the way we hoped. Our Sherman Bearcats 14U All-Stars laid it all on the line in the Regional Semifinal against the Texarkana Texas Tigers, and despite every ounce of fight, we came up short.
But what these boys showed today — and this entire season — can’t be measured by a scoreboard.
They showed heart. They showed grit. They showed what it means to wear “Sherman” across their chest.
I’ve never been prouder of a group of young men. From early mornings to late nights, they committed themselves to each other, to this team, and to this journey. And every single one of them grew as a player, a teammate, and a person.
To the parents, families, and supporters — thank you for trusting me to lead these boys and for being with us every step of the way. Your belief in them means more than you know.
We may not be bringing home a trophy… but we’re walking away with something far greater — memories, lessons, and a bond that will last a lifetime.
