Venom Springborn 9U Impressive In Win Against Reapers 🔥⚾️🔥⚾️🔥

Venom Springborn 9U won big over Reapers 12-4 on Monday.

Reapers got on the board in the top of the first inning after Chase D walked, and Corbin C grounded out, each scoring one run.

Venom Springborn 9U took the lead, 3-2, in the bottom of the first thanks to singles by Charlie L, and Logan S.

Venom Springborn 9U added two runs in the second. Maverick N stole home, making the score 5-2.

Venom Springborn 9U added to their early lead in the bottom of the third inning after Venom Springborn 9U scored on a passed ball, and Clayton L walked, each scoring one run.

Mason C stepped on the mound first for Venom Springborn 9U. The starting pitcher gave up seven hits and four runs over three and one-third innings, striking out six and walking two. Logan G stepped on the mound first for Reapers. The hurler allowed three hits and seven runs (five earned) over two and two-thirds innings, striking out seven and walking five. William A pitched two and two-thirds innings of no-run ball for Venom Springborn 9U in relief. The reliever allowed one hit, striking out four and walking three.

Charlie drove the middle of the lineup, leading Venom Springborn 9U with two runs batted in. The first baseman went 2-for-3 on the day. Mason and Charlie each collected two hits for Venom Springborn 9U. Clayton led Venom Springborn 9U with two walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, collecting 10 walks for the game. Jaxson S stole two bases. Venom Springborn 9U didn't commit a single error in the field. Gunner M had the most chances in the field with 12.

Oliver B set the tone at the top of the lineup, leading Reapers with three hits in three at bats. Corbin, Paddy K, and Logan each drove in one run for Reapers. Thomas C, Paddy, Logan, and Austin L each stole multiple bases for Reapers. Reapers stole 10 bases in the game.
