Would anybody be interested in partnering up and investing in a great advertising and marketing opportunity? If you're willing to race and want to see some awesome old-school bikes, and you're interested in being eligible for the 2026 Nostalgia Fuel Championship sponsored by the Nostalgic Dragbike Racing League, the AMRA, Craig Caulk Racing, and the Rockford Liquidation Warehouse, then this post contains the rules that you MUST abide by. Any deviation from these rules may cause that race to be declared ineligible for the season championship. Changes MUST be approved unanimously by Jay Rogers, Greg Baugh, Craig Caulk, and Al Balice. Additionally, in order to be eligible for points in the 2026 Championship, you MUST compete at one of the AMRA events hosting this class, either Byron, Illinois or Bowling Green, Kentucky. A 4 bike minimum field will be required for points to count towards the championship.
After the last race, points will be tallied based on your best performance at 3 of the eligible races. I am only tagging the promoters and sponsors. Please share this post with anyone that you know that may be interested in competing in the Championship.
Nostalgia Fuel rules
Harleys must be knife and fork rods, NO SIDE BY SIDE RODS
Multiple engines are allowed
Must run at least 80% Nitromethane, concessions may be made for supercharged or turbocharged
Stock like mounting condition, engine plates are allowed, after market cases are allowed. NO BUSHING BOTTOM END MOTORS. No Derringers. No Fast Cats. Delkron 4 cams MUST have cast heads. NO BILLET HEADS with Delkron bottom
Evolution Harley and older(based on AMCA 35 yrs old and older to be considered antique) Evo harleys are limited to 120 cubic inch
Metrics ARE ALLOWED. Metrics limited to SOHC and older
All bikes will run 3 qualifying rounds, 2 on the first day of qualifying, last chance on race day. Weather may have an impact on number of qualifying rounds.
After qualifying, field will be split into A and B field for 12 bikes or more, split will be at the discretion of promoter, most likely is that field will be split in half based on fastest and slowest overall spread. B field will have a .2 second breakout clause based on the fastest et in the B field. This is to prevent sandbagging.
If 8 bikes or less AND total spread of .4 seconds or more of all qualifiers, the field will be combined and chip draw by tower for each round pairing. If less than .4 second spread across field, standard pairing will apply

Other considerations may be made on an as needed basis, options include running a handicap timing system while still using a .400 tree
Track safety will be enforced. Injected bikes are required to have a secondary tether for the fuel system. Ballistics chest protection is mandatory for ALL competitors. Cylinder restraints are required.
