SJHS Boys Basketball and SJHS Girls Basketball ARE SEEKING SPONSORS FOR THE 26/27 SEASON!

Thank you for taking the time to prospectively support the student athletes in our community. The coaches and parents of the Seymour Junior High School Basketball Team believe in creating opportunities for our students to excel in both academics and athletics. With your help, our student athletes will have more access to essential resources to equipment, uniforms, and tournament fees that allow them to showcase their hard work.

Moreover, your help will directly benefit our student athletes who may not have access to local businesses like you who are willing to help kids of our community have access to team sports. Our players and parents are reaching out to you for support because we want our team to be affiliated with a leader in the community that shares our values of hard work and consistency.

Sponsoring our team is not only a great way to get involved with our community; working with our team is also an effortless form of marketing for your business. Combined, our boys and girls basketball teams provide access to basketball to over 40 students. In addition to their families that proudly attend home games, we play over 70 games with families spanning Blount County, Knox County, Sevier County, Anderson County, and Hamblen County watching boys and girls play varsity and junior varsity basketball.

Having your business branding in front of the surrounding communities as they are welcomed for multiple basketball games each night provides exposure for your business’s community support and the hard work our student athletes put forward.

Hello from the Hardwood!! In 3 weeks ALL Kindergarteners through 5th Graders of any skill level can beat the heat by joining our 2nd Annual Kids Basketball Camp from 1:00-4:00PM on SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 20th! Over 70 kids in Seymour and surrounding areas came out last year, and our Seymour staff cannot wait to lead another 3 Hours of fun basketball drills and competitions!

For all looking to participate in the Seymour Junior Basketball League this season, a Parent Information Meeting will be held after the camp in the same Junior High School Gym.

Drop Off and Pick Up will be at the back of the Seymour Junior High School Gym.

$30 will be collected at the door for each camper. There will be a $5 discount for siblings. Please pre-register your camper through the link below:

Had to celebrate these boys’ hard work this spring session with some pizza after our final practice! We are proud of this team with many newcomers who are settling in and learning well. Thank you for all the time and effort from our players, their families who traveled all over surrounding counties and our coaches who put in extra time each afternoon and evening for games and practices. Enjoy your time off, Eagles!🦅🦅

These boys wrapped up team camp in Pigeon Forge tonight! They played some tough teams and fought hard. Looking forward to some time before the season begins for growth and improvement. Proud of our Eagles🦅

Proud of these boys for completing their 2nd week of team camp! Varsity went 5-1 and JV went 4-2 for the week, facing new competition from around Tennessee and Kentucky.
