A huge congratulations to TKA senior Lillie McNutt on reaching an incredible career milestone: 1,000 DIGS! 🦁👏

Reaching 1,000 digs doesn’t happen by accident. It represents years of hard work, consistency, quick reactions, determination, and a willingness to do whatever it takes to keep the ball off the floor.

Lillie has been a steady presence for TKA Volleyball, and we’re excited to celebrate this accomplishment with her.

🏃‍♂️🦁 BIG DAY FOR TKA CROSS COUNTRY!

Our Lions turned in some outstanding performances on the course, with TKA runners finishing at the front of both the Middle School and Upper School races!

🥇 Brayden took 1st place in the Middle School race!
🥉 Benjamin Bean finished 3rd, crossing the line only about 15 seconds behind Brayden!

And in the Upper School race…

🥇 Duncan Oshumu continued his impressive start to the season by taking 1st place!

Three Lions. Three top-three finishes. Two race wins. 🔥

What a way to start the cross country season!

TKA’s Duncan Oshumu opened the year with an outstanding performance at the Victor Ashe Park Fall Classic, finishing 3rd in the 5K with a time of 16:19! The meet brought together high school runners at Victor Ashe Park in Knoxville.

And now Duncan has been nominated for MileSplit Tennessee Boys Performer of the Week! The statewide poll highlights some of Tennessee’s top performances from the past week, and voting runs through Thursday.

🦁💜 THE FIRST PROWL OF CHAMPIONS IS IN THE BOOKS!

What a way to kick off a new TKA tradition!

Our community came together this afternoon to cheer on our football players, cheerleaders, and dancers during the inaugural Prowl of Champions, sending our Lions toward Huskey Field surrounded by the support of the TKA family.

And we’re just getting started. 🔥

Tonight marks our first home football game in two years, and we want Huskey Field PACKED!

⚽️ A BATTLE TO THE FINAL WHISTLE! 🦁💜

TKA Girls Soccer went back and forth with Berean Christian last night in a high-scoring matchup that ended in a 5-5 draw.

Five goals. Plenty of momentum swings. And a Lady Lions team that kept battling every time the game changed.

Matches like this test more than skill. They demand resilience, composure, communication, and the determination to keep competing until the final whistle.

TKA Volleyball battled through an absolute thriller against Alcoa, going the distance in a five-set victory!

After dropping the first two sets, the Lady Lions refused to quit. They fought back to take the next two, then finished the comeback with a 15-13 win in the fifth set to secure the match, 3-2.

Final: TKA 3, Alcoa 2
27-29 | 25-27 | 18-25 | 25-21 | 15-13

And we have to talk about the STUDENT SECTION! 🗣️🦁 The energy was incredible. Our students were loud, engaged, and behind the Lady Lions all the way through five sets. That kind of home-court atmosphere matters!

A gutsy comeback. An electric crowd. A great night to be a Lion. 💜
