Come out and support the Clearview Regional High School basketball teams at their upcoming Youth Nights:

Girls game: Monday, 1/12 at 530 pm
Boys game: Monday, 1/19 at 11am-MLK DAY - no school.

On-line registration for the 2026 CYB season is now closed. There are still a few spots open in some divisions; if your child still wants to play, please email us at [email protected] to inquire as to whether there is room in his or her division. The final divisions are being set up this week - if you have not yet heard about your child's team, you will shortly. Thank you for your patience as we work to get everyone in the gyms - the season will begin the week of January 5th for everyone who hasn't started yet.

UPDATE: Travel teams have now been selected and started practicing. Team drafts for the junior boys, minor boys, rookie boys and girls, and high school boys divisions will be held shortly - if you volunteered to coach a team in one of those divisions, keep an eye out for an email soon with the date and time for your draft. Thanks for your patience as we work to set everything up.

We are still accepting registrations for the rookie boys and girls (grades 1 and 2); junior boys (grades 5 and 6); senior boys (grades 7 and 8); and high school boys divisions - registrations will be accepted until the divisions are full or until Monday, December 8, whichever comes first.

CYB's skills evaluations for senior girls and boys (7th and 8th grades) will be held at Clearview Regional High School on Tuesday 11/18/25, and Wednesday, 11/19/25 - girls at 6:30 p.m.; boys at 7:45 p.m. Players should plan to attend both nights - if you have not yet mailed in the registration fee, it can be turned in on the first night of the evaluations.

Tuesday, 11/18 is the deadline to register your child and still be guaranteed a spot on a team in the senior division - after the evaluations, the number of teams will be set and additional players will only be accepted if there are spots open on one of those teams.

As of this date, registrations for the minor girls (grades 3/4), junior girls (grades 5/6), and junior boys (grades 5/6) divisions are CLOSED. Registrations are still being accepted for the boys and girls rookie divisions (grades 1 and 2), the minor boys division (grades 3/4); and the high school boys divisions (grades 9 through 12). Reminder: skills evaluations for boys in grades 3 through 6 are TONIGHT (Thursday, 10/30) and Monday ((11/3) at JMT - 6:30 pm for grades 3 and 4; 7:30 pm for grades 5 and 6. Last chance to register and be guaranteed a spot on a team! After Monday, the number of teams will be set and additional registrations will only be accepted while there is still space on a team.

FYI - CYB's minor girls (3rd/4th grade) and junior girls (5th/6th grade) divisions are now FULL - no additional registrations will be accepted for those two divisions. Registrations are still being accepted for all other divisions. The last chance to register and be guaranteed a spot on a team in the minor or junior boys divisions (grades 3 through 6) is Thursday, 10/30/25- after that, the number of teams will be set and additional registrations will only be accepted if a space is open on a team (maximum ten players per team). Boys grades 3 and 4: Thursday night (10/30) and next Monday (11/3), 6:30-7:30
Boys grades 5 and 6: Thursday night (10/30) and next Monday (11/3), 7:30-8:30

This is the last chance to guarantee a spot for players in grades 3 through 6 - after the evaluations, the number of teams will be set and additional players will only be accepted if space remains on a team (maximum ten players per team). Additional registrations for players in all other grades will continue to be accepted until their grade's skills evaluation (grades 7 and 8) or December 1 (grades 1 and 2 plus high school boys). Registrations continue to be accepted for CYB's 2026 basketball season - use the link below to register. Skills evaluations for players in GRADES 3 THROUGH 6 will be held on the following dates at J. Mason Tomlin School on Main Street in Mantua:

- Girls grades 3 and 4: 6:30-7:30 p.m., Monday 10/27 and Tuesday, 10/28
- Girls grades 5 and 6: 7:30-8:30 p.m., Monday 10/27 and Tuesday, 10/28
- Boys grades 3 and 4: 6:30-7:30 p.m., Thursday, 10/30 and Monday, 11/3
- Boys grades 5 and 6: 7:30-8:30 p.m., Thursday, 10/30 and Monday, 11/3

All players should attend both nights of their evaluations. Please register your child on-line before attending skills evaluations - payment can be submitted the night of their first evaluation at JMT. Registrations for all other grade levels continue to be accepted on-line - please mail your payment within three days of registering to CYB, P.O. Box 466, Sewell, NJ 08080 (players will not be allowed to participate in their skills evaluations or first practices until payment is received). Skills evaluations for players in grades 7 and 8 will be held in mid-to-late November - players in grades 1 and 2 and high school boys do not participate in evaluations. Registration is now open for the upcoming 2026 basketball season! If your child is interested in playing this season, please register them using the link below. CYB offers in-house divisions for Mantua Township residents in grades 1 through 8 and for residents of both Mantua and Harrison townships in grades 9 through 12, as well as a competitive travel league for grades 3 through 8. Skills evaluations for players in grades 3 through 8 will be scheduled for late October/early November, and the season officially kicks off in early January. More information will follow - please register early to help with planning and ensure that you don't miss any future updates. All our players and coaches are invited to two Youth Nights hosted by Clearview Regional High School's Girls and Boys Basketball teams: Boys on Monday, January 13th @ 5:30 p.m. versus Washington Township, and Girls on Thursday, January 16th @ 5:30 p.m. versus Eastern (Freshman and Junior Varsity teams play at 4:00 p.m.). Youth players who wear their CYB shirts or jerseys will be admitted for free, and will be invited on to the court for pre-game player introductions (plan to arrive by 5:15 p.m.) - plus there will be contests and giveaways! Come out to support our teams and keep the Clearview basketball spirit alive!
