Thunderstruck Racing Legend / Bandelero race team from East Tennessee Thunderstruck Racing is a motorsports team made of three drivers - Rylan, Alex, and Samanthalee.

Along with their racing family and crew chief, Alan, they're working to conquer victory lane one karting track at a time. Follow our laps and come see us race when we're at a track near you!

As Monday approaches,it’s time to reflect. Three years ago at 9 years old Rylan started racing karts. We had a lot of help along the way.
Mike Hillard from Ashway Speedway. Tater Petty, and many people from the track. A lot of understanding from our family. His mother, older sister and older brother(who also ran Karts). Ben Taft from Kart6T3. Not only his videos, but I could call him anytime for advise. He has been a big supporter of Rylan. Josh Green for helping us make the move. George Gould for always supporting Rylan. Of course all our amazing sponsors.
Monday will be the first of an eight week stretch at Charlotte Motor Speedway for the Cookout Summer Shootout. We got to practice last week. Amazing place! This is the biggest stage Rylan has run. We have to Thank Redhead Racing for top notch car they put under Rylan in every race. We are blessed to have such great people to coach Rylan.
Shootout will start Monday and it will be on Floracing for anyone that has that subscription. We will also keep everyone updated.

Went to Charlotte Motor Speedway for the first time yesterday. It was a practice day for the Summer shootout starting this coming Monday.

Who would have thought when we started kart racing three years ago, Rylan would be sitting in the same room that all the NASCAR greats have been in for a drivers meeting. To be able to race at a facility like this is amazing. We are truly grateful to be apart of Redhead racing. Also extremely thankful to all our sponsors who have helped along the way.
