What happens when women are willing to truly see one another, and allow themselves to be truly seen?
Last evening, I experienced something beautiful in a circle of women I was cohosting. For our main process, we did a puja circle, which I have always felt is a wonderful way to connect deeply with someone very quickly.
Every woman there, whether she knew the woman who stood in front of her or not, allowed her heart to open and truly see the other woman, while also allowing herself to be seen. Each woman allowed herself to give and receive love, and to listen fully with both her ears and her heart.
What many women shared at the end of our evening was how nurturing and fulfilling it was to truly be seen by another. To be authentic and transparent, and how they wished this was something they could experience with other people in their lives, even with a stranger.
My takeaway from this is that we all have the opportunity to let someone in, to allow ourselves to let go of the masks we sometimes hide behind. We can open our hearts, if we choose, with anyone we meet.
If we are to create a new world, we must choose to live in that world now, regardless of what others are doing, regardless of the circumstances, the politics, or whatever else may be happening around us.
We have the opportunity, if we wish, to be a beacon of love wherever we go and with whomever we meet. Being authentic and transparent takes courage and trust in our True Nature.
My invitation to you, if you resonate with this message, is to connect with your heart, let down your guard, and allow yourself to be a reflection of love with whomever you meet in your daily activities, as much as you can.
It is a challenge I offer to you, as I offer it to myself.
