There comes a point in every woman's eldercare journey when she realizes she doesn't just need more information; she needs a roadmap for chartering unchartered terriroty.

This is exactly what's inspiring two exciting milestones I'm thrilled to share today.

✨ First, Living Goldenwell has a brand-new website.

I'm creating a space that reflects our mission: helping professional and entrepreneurial women navigate caring for aging parents without losing themselves in the process.

It's now easier to explore our resources, learn about our programs and working with me, and find the support you need, wherever you are in caring for elderly parents.

And that's only part of what's new...

✨ Caregiving From The Middle is growing with the launch of its new Program Roadmap.

Eldercare can feel overwhelming because there are so many moving pieces. Family conversations. Care decisions. Legal and financial planning. Medicare and Medicaid. Protecting your own health while supporting someone else's.

Our new month-by-month roadmap brings enhanced structure and guidance to women, helping them confidently navigate the learning curriculum, live group coaching, and programming resources while building a practical plan for the months ahead. Every woman now begins with a personalized onboarding experience using this roadmap, creating clarity from day one.

My hope is that no woman has to navigate eldercare feeling overwhelmed or alone. People are often struggling in silence and don't know where to turn for guidance.

If you're caring for elderly parents, or know someone who is, visit www.livinggoldenwell.com to see the new website and learn more about Caregiving From The Middle.

If someone came to mind while reading this, consider sharing this post with them. It may be exactly what they need today.

When you're caring for an aging parent, it's easy to forget about caring for yourself.

I see it every day.

Women balancing careers, families, and the growing responsibilities of supporting aging parents often put their own health at the bottom of the list. I understand because I've been there myself.

That's why I'm so excited to introduce a new monthly benefit for the women that are part of Caregiving From The Middle.

Beginning September 2, we're partnering with Christine Despres of the The Wellness Navigator, to offer Brain Boost Sessions as part of our monthly programming.

These free, 30-minute live sessions are designed to help you:

🧠 Strengthen your brain health
💛 Build simple habits that support healthy aging
🌿 Reduce stress and reconnect with yourself
✨ Invest in your wellbeing alongside your caregiving journey

Each session includes a guided meditation, practical brain health education, science-backed wellness strategies, and a supportive space where you can simply show up.

What I know is that caring for elderly parents starts with supporting yourself.

Brain Boost Sessions are just one of the many ways we're expanding Caregiving From The Middle to provide both eldercare resources and self-care support for women.

When families are supporting aging parents, financial questions can often become some of the biggest and most emotional ones.

Will their money last?
How do we plan for health care costs?
What happens if the market shifts?
What should we be thinking about before there’s a crisis?

Inside Caregiving From The Middle, we recently hosted a practical expert workshop with Malcolm, financial advisor, on Retirement: Making Your Money Last.

Pamela walked us through a high-level overview of how to think about retirement planning with more clarity, especially for women who are supporting parents while also considering their own future.

We talked about expected expenses, income sources, inflation, health care costs, market volatility, long-term care, withdrawal strategies, and the importance of reviewing beneficiary designations.

It was a thoughtful reminder that these decisions are easier to face when you have trusted guidance, good questions, and a place to keep learning.

This is part of what members have access to inside Caregiving From The Middle: expert workshops, practical learning sessions, and community conversations designed for women navigating eldercare, supporting aging parents and planning for their own future.

A big thank you to Malcolm for sharing your expertise with our community. So grateful for your contribution and collaboration.

You can find an enormous amount of information about caring for aging parents online.

But more information does not always create more clarity.

Sometimes it creates more tabs, more conflicting advice, and more uncertainty about what actually applies to your family.

That was one of the themes we talked about during my recent Caring For Elderly
Parents: Guidance & Support workshop.

And Googling ‘caring for elderly parents’ cannot always answer the questions beneath the questions:

Am I making the right decision?

How do I support my parent without losing myself?

How do I manage this alongside everything else in my life?

Does anyone else understand how heavy this feels?

Women supporting aging parents need more than information.

They need trusted education, practical guidance, meaningful relationships, and a place where they can ask honest questions without having to explain the entire context first.

That is what we are building inside Caregiving From The Middle.

It is a virtual community and learning space for professional and entrepreneurial women who want to feel more informed, connected, and confident as they navigate eldercare.

Last week, I had the opportunity to connect with women navigating one of life’s most complex seasons: caring for aging parents while continuing to manage careers, families, relationships, and their own wellbeing.

During our Caring For Elderly Parents: Guidance & Support workshop, we talked about some important truths:

You are not supposed to know how to navigate eldercare instinctively, and no one is handing you a guide for this.

Supporting a parent can involve medical decisions, care options, legal and financial questions, changing family roles, and emotions that are difficult to explain to anyone who has not experienced them.

Some of the key reminders from our conversation were:
• Preparation can help you respond with greater clarity when circumstances change
• Trusted guidance can save valuable time, energy, and costly mistakes
• Asking for support is not a sign that you are failing
• The right relationships can make this season feel far less isolating

Thank you to all the women who joined us, shared openly, and brought thoughtful questions to the conversation!

This is exactly why I created Caregiving From The Middle, a virtual connection network and learning space for professional and entrepreneurial women supporting aging parents.

It is a place to gain practical knowledge, connect with women who understand, and move through eldercare with greater confidence and support.

Unfortunately, most families do not begin preparing for eldercare until something happens.

A fall. A diagnosis. A phone call that makes it clear something has changed.

That was definitely my experience.

When my father began showing signs of Alzheimer’s dementia, I was raising an infant and a toddler while managing a demanding corporate career. Suddenly, I was expected to understand dementia, legal documents, care options, finances, family dynamics, and what my father might need next.

I loved my dad deeply, but I was woefully unprepared.

And I often felt like I was navigating it alone.

This matters now because our parents are aging, even when there is no immediate crisis.

Having the right information, relationships, knowledge and support before difficult decisions arrive will absolutely save you time, energy, uncertainty, and costly mistakes.

Caring for an aging parent can bring questions you never expected to face.

What does my parent need right now? How do I prepare for what may be coming?
How do I balance their needs with my career, family, relationships, and my own wellbeing?
And perhaps the biggest question of all: Am I supposed to figure all of this out on my own?

If you’re asking these questions, I want you to join me for a live virtual workshop:

Do you have a parent living with dementia, mild cognitive impairment or suspected cogntive decline, and wondering, "What's happening, and how do I respond?"

It's one of the most confusing and emotional parts of coming alongside your person. Changes in memory, communication, and behavior can leave families feeling overwhelmed, uncertain, and unsure of how to help.

That's why, inside Caregiving From The Middle, our eldercare network and program for women, we recently hosted a powerful two-part workshop series with Carlyn Lenfestey, Physical Therapist, Certified Dementia Practitioner, and founder of A Better Way: Dementia Care Solutions.

Together, we explored:

• What dementia does to the brain
• Why behaviors change and what they're communicating
• Communication strategies for every stage of dementia
• Practical frameworks that help caregivers respond with greater confidence, compassion, and preparedness

These are the kinds of expert-led conversations our members have access to through workshops, learning sessions, and a supportive network of women navigating similar caregiving journeys.

A heartfelt thank you to Carlyn Lenfestey and A Better Way: Dementia Care Solutions for sharing your expertise and helping our members feel more informed, supported, and empowered.

If you're caring for an aging parent or elderly loved one and want curated, trusted guidance and expertise alongside a community that truly understands, we'd love to welcome you.

Many women find themselves in the “middle” - raising children, managing careers and businesses, and supporting aging parents at the same time - often feeling as though everything depends on them.

When it comes to caring for elderly parents, you don't have to figure it out alone.

You can research every resource and read every article, but navigating eldercare without other like-minded women who truly get it can feel overwhelming and isolating.

You need real support, insightful education and trusted guidance.

We're hosting a Free Live Workshop on Thursday, July 30th at 12 PM PT / 3 PM ET to give you a glimpse into what navigating eldercare with clarity, confidence and guidance can actually look like.

There is a moment many women experience while supporting aging parents when the relationship quietly shifts.

You are still the daughter. But suddenly, you are also the person reviewing documents, asking financial questions, coordinating decisions, and trying to understand systems you may never have expected to manage.

Recently, inside Caregiving From The Middle, we hosted an interactive workshop with Verser, Money Mentor, Life Coach, and one of our valued Contributing Experts.

Our conversation, The Woman in the Middle: Identity, Money, and the Caregiving Season, explored both sides of this transition.

The practical side included powers of attorney, trusts, Medicare and Medicaid, life insurance, annuities, and retirement accounts.

But we also made space for something just as important: the emotional and personal impact of becoming responsible for so much.

How do you build confidence in decisions you were never taught to make?

How do you recognize the money beliefs you may have inherited?

And how do you remain connected to yourself while caring for the people you love?

These are the conversations I want women to have access to. Honest, useful, thoughtfully curated, and grounded in the realities of supporting aging parents.

A heartfelt thank-you to Verser for bringing such openness, clarity, and practical wisdom to our community. I’m deeply grateful for your contribution and collaboration.

This is just one example of the expert workshops, learning opportunities, and supportive conversations available to members of Caregiving From The Middle.
