No cuts, all skill levels are welcome! Seattle Pilots Softball Program is a 501(c)3 organization affiliated with Northeast Seattle Little League. Founded in 2018, the Seattle Pilots pursue a threefold mission:
1. Contribute to communi
ty well-being through the sport of softball.
2. Provide multi-seasonal, in depth, softball skill development to NE Seattle Youth.
3. Foster a sense of shared community among youth and families representing diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. To accomplish its mission, the Seattle Pilots emphasizes leadership and skills development. As we believe all youth should have the opportunity to
develop leadership opportunities, there is a no-cut policy in Pilots for NE Seattle players, and all skill levels are welcome. Similarly, to meet our goals of fostering a sense of shared community in our NE Seattle region, no player will be excluded due to inability to meet
financial obligations. Full scholarships are available. Although the practice schedule is robust, out of town competitive tournaments are limited to just three per year to decrease expenses and time commitment. This allows families to pursue other sports and extracurricular activities so that youth have the opportunity to explore multiple interests. Many youth between the ages of 9-14 lose interest sports because they do not have the time or money to participate in privately organized sports teams. Our mission is to offer year round softball training to young players in order to maintain their interest in softball up until high school. Seattle Pilots is soliciting help with coaching, equipment, marketing, and recruiting. The program would particularly like to focus recruiting efforts in diverse communities in NE Seattle and surrounding areas. Previous softball skills are not required for involvement. Please considering joining us and supporting our vision for supporting the NE Seattle community.
