We’re reading The Shampoo Effect by Jenny Jackson, a juicy, easy summer read.

Caroline moves to a dreamy coastal town for a fresh start and falls for a charming local. Then she finds out his ex is PREGNANT. A minor detail.

What follows is a tangle of friendship, love, and how quickly our carefully imagined lives can become something else entirely.

We’ll be meeting at Moov SLU on September 8th at 7 PM, with have light bites and sips. Come hang, talk books, and vote for our September read, translated fiction is the theme!
