🥎 September 1st. A day we’ve been waiting for. ❤️
Recruiting is officially LIVE for our 2028s, and as a coach, it’s hard not to get a little emotional thinking about what lies ahead for these young ladies.
I’ve watched them work, struggle, grow, overcome, celebrate, and continue to show up day after day. Now they get to start taking those next steps toward something they’ve dreamed about for a long time — playing softball at the next level. 🎓🥎
But I want every one of them to remember something…
Not all paths are created equal.
For some, the recruiting process may start today. For others, it may take weeks or even months before the right opportunity comes along. And there is absolutely nothing wrong with that.
Don’t compare your journey to the girl standing next to you. Don’t measure your worth by who calls first, who gets an offer first, or who gets noticed first.
Your journey is YOUR journey.
Keep working. Keep believing. Keep being a great teammate. Keep trusting the process. And when your opportunity comes, be ready for it.
As coaches, we couldn’t be more proud of the young women you are becoming — on the field and, more importantly, off of it.
The softball journey is just getting started, ladies. ❤️
Enjoy the ride. Trust the timing. Believe in yourself. And never forget how far you’ve already come.
