Incredibly proud to share some exciting news involving several young athletes from our community! ⚽🌎

Earlier this year, local players attended a special soccer camp opportunity that brought together youth from Pleasant Grove, Seagoville, and surrounding DISD District 4 communities. Over 150 kids attended throughout the week, and only 38 were selected for an amazing opportunity connected to the upcoming FIFA World Cup activities.

What makes this even more special is that 34 of the 38 selected athletes are DISD District 4 students — some live in Seagoville and play right here in our association at SYSA. ❤️⚽

The players were selected not only for their soccer ability, but also for their camp attendance, sportsmanship, attitude, and involvement on and off the field. That says a lot about the character of these young athletes and the families supporting them.

We are proud to see our kids representing our community in such a positive way and grateful to everyone helping create opportunities for youth soccer in our area.

Congratulations to all the selected players — your hard work is paying off, and the entire Seagoville community is cheering you on! 🙌

Welcome Johanna to our team!

Meet our Soccer Registrar Assistant

My name is Johana and I was introduced to soccer from a very young age. My dad was a die-hard soccer fan and now coach!

In the few years that I’ve helped out with the team, my love for the game has only gone up. Seeing how the kids improve and learn to love the sport has been my favorite part of the whole experience.

I’ve met so many wonderful kids and parents and hope to continue to meet more! This league has shown the importance of community and i’m grateful to be a part of it!
