West Shore Amateur Hockey Association (WSAHA) is committed to our mission: Ignite a passion for hockey, propel our organization to new heights, and provide an environment that is safe, exciting, competitive and affordable. We are a local youth house hockey program, operating in partnership with the West Shore Community Ice Arena (WSCIA) in Scottville, MI and provide skating opportunities to the community for ages 4-18 years. Our 10u (Squirts), 12u (PeeWees), 14u (Bantams) and 18U AA (Midgets) Split Season teams host Home games at WSCIA and travel to compete against other teams, mainly in District 6 of the Michigan Amateur Hockey Association (MAHA). Our 6u/8u (Mites) developmental "Learn to Play" hockey program is a great way to introduce kids to the sport. This program runs from October to the beginning of March, has very low commitment and we have equipment bags available to borrow for this age group. West Shore Community Ice Arena offers Learn to Skate for new skaters who are interested in just getting started on the ice. This program is a once-a-week commitment and aims to help children feel comfortable and confident while skating.
