Our sophomore guard took his talents to NextUp Recruits Elite Exposure Camp, one of the state's top showcases for college scouts, going head to head with 100+ of Kentucky's best. Getting in front of college programs this early says a lot about where Truett's game and work ethic are headed.

Welcome back to our staff Coach Preston Wimpee 🏀

An alumnus of ACS (Class of 2022), Preston is entering his third season as an assistant coach. He is a senior at WKU majoring in Special Education and currently works part time at Allen County Schools as an apprentice while finishing up his degree. Having coached Freshman basketball the last couple years, Preston is excited for this new opportunity and challenge of coaching the JV team and getting the guys ready for the next level. Being from Allen County, he takes pride in helping these young men become not only better players but better people.

Welcome back to our staff Coach Dillon Reid!🏀

Coach Dillon Reid, an ACS High School graduate (Class of 2017), is entering his second season on the Patriots basketball coaching staff and his second year teaching at ACS High School. A three-sport athlete in basketball, football, and track, Reid earned his degree from Western Kentucky University in 2022. While at WKU, he coached middle school basketball at Moss Middle School and also coached 8th-grade, 9th-grade, and varsity AAU basketball. Coach Reid is committed to developing student-athletes and continuing the tradition of excellence at ACS.

Welcome back to our staff Coach Colton Ralston! 🏀

Coach Colton Ralston is a senior at Western Kentucky University majoring in Physical Education and Health. He played at Lincoln County High School, where he was a 1,000-point scorer, won four District Championships, a Regional Championship, and helped lead the Lincoln County Patriots to the Final Four. He continued his basketball career at Campbellsville University Harrodsburg before transferring to WKU. Coach Ralston is passionate about helping young athletes grow on and off the court and is excited to share his love for the game.

A huge THANK YOU to the 9 teams that joined us today for the ACS Summer Shootout!

We were grateful to host programs across regions 2, 3, 4, and 5 for a day of competition, sportsmanship, and summer basketball. Events like this are only possible because of the coaches, players, families, officials, and supporters who give their time and effort to make the day a success. Special thanks to Lee's Links for coming out.
