Meet and show some love to our dynamic duo, Maita and Matt Van Duyne! 🏐💙

You might see them at One Beach, managing and playing sand open play. You might find them in the Ichiban gym, coaching or cheering from the sidelines while their son takes the court. Or you may catch them coaching high school volleyball in Dunwoody.

For Maita and Matt, volleyball truly is a family affair.. and they represent so much of what Ichiban is all about: family, community, commitment, and a genuine love for the game.

They’ve been part of the Ichiban family for nearly a decade, and we are incredibly thankful for the time, energy, and heart they continue to pour into our club and the sport of volleyball.

We’re lucky to have the Van Duynes as part of our Ichiban family! 🫶🏐

Your biggest believer on the court has to be YOU. 🏐💙

Your coaches can encourage you. Your teammates can hype you up. Your family can believe in you. But when that ball is coming your way, your inner voice is the one you hear.

Instead of thinking “What if I mess up?” start thinking “Im about to make this play"

Confidence doesn’t mean you’ll never make a mistake. It means you trust yourself enough to want the next ball anyway.

Correct the thought. Reset. Believe in yourself.
Next ball is yours. You were made for this!
