What a ride!

LBA Naturals 14U finishes 3rd Place in the Texas Southwest Summer Nationals out of 26 teams, an awesome showing for the local team.

The Naturals went 6-2, outscoring their opponents 52-33 while battling against some of the toughest competition in the tournament.

This was the first year of 14U for the organization and it was a heck of a showing going 47-15-2, getting tons of valuable reps for all of the players.

What a way to close out the season!

🥉 LBA Naturals 14U finishes 3rd Place in the Texas Southwest Summer Nationals out of 26 teams!

The Naturals went 6-2, outscoring their opponents 52-33 while battling some of the toughest competition in the tournament.

The team wraps up its first year of 14U with an impressive 47-15-2 overall record. This group showed grit, determination, and tremendous growth all season long, and we’re proud of everything they accomplished.

A huge thank you to all of our families, sponsors, supporters, and followers who cheered us on throughout the season. Your support means more than you know.

The Naturals begin their second year of 14U this fall, and we’re excited for what’s ahead. This
team has laid a strong foundation, and we’re ready to come back even bigger, stronger, and hungrier for the season ahead.

Our July 15–17 tryouts are just around the corner, and we’re excited to continue growing our program! We will have a 8U, 9U, 10U, two 12U teams, and two 14U teams!

Team placement will be determined after tryouts, allowing our coaches to evaluate every athlete and place them where they’ll have the greatest opportunity to develop, compete, and succeed. While age is an important factor, we’ll also be looking at skill level, experience, and overall team fit to ensure every player is in the best environment to thrive.

If you’re looking for a positive, competitive program that focuses on player development, teamwork, and preparing athletes for the next level, we’d love to see you at tryouts! We can’t wait to meet some amazing players and welcome new families to the LBA Naturals family! 💙💚🥎

One final post from Alabama: Coach Melanie recognized Ellie Naquin as MVP of the tourney for being ready to accept any assignment she was given! Ellie played first base for the Naturals and never knew whether Coach Mel would have her slapping from the left side or swinging away from the right, but she was always up to the task. Congrats, Ellie!

3RD PLACE AT NATIONALS! Our Naturals 10U ladies finished their season in remarkable fashion, placing 3RD at the USSSA National Championship in Gulf Shores, Alabama!! First-year head coach, Melanie Bourgeois, led this team, many of which were in their first year of travel softball, to incredible heights with 3rd place finishes at the state and national level. The future is bright for these girls, as well as softball in the Bayou Region! Join us in congratulating the Naturals 10U on an OUTSTANDING SEASON!
