What does discipline look like?
It looks like showing up to train week in and week out, whether classes involve things you love such as board breaking, cool kicking, and the occasional dodgeball…or whether you’re having a bad day or would prefer staying home for an extra nap or tv show.
It doesn’t matter if you’re a kid or adult, we’ve all felt this roller coaster of motivation - and there’s a chance you experience this roller coaster multiple times in the span of one class!
Discipline looks like these three, who have all laughed, sweat, and cried in class (even in the same class). Even when they didn’t get their stripe one day, or fought with their sibling, or whatever other reason, still put on their uniform, tied their belt, and came in.
If you look at some of our past posts, you can see them practicing even on vacation!
These three have been with us since WK opened in Schaumburg almost two years ago, and I am so proud of them and their promotion to purple belt. I’m so excited to see them eventually reach black belt and beyond in the years to come!
