Good Snowy Afternoon everyone!!! Our neighbors to the north are hosting a Bonspiel for beginners this coming weekend! It would be a great chance for those who want some more curling this season to visit the club over there and get some games in!!!

Although it is unfortunate that our Alpena Friendly was cancelled there is another chance to curl from our friends across the river!

The Soo Curling Association in Soo Canada is having a St. Patrick's Day Bonspiel from March 13th-15th! We have a couple teams from over here already signed up and one of them is looking for a member to join their team.

Alpena Friendly - CANCELLED

Sorry everyone, we had a few people who originally thought they could go have to drop out and even their numbers weren't that high making it prohibitively expensive for both clubs. It has been decided to cancel it for this year BUT we hope to plan with them in the offseason and have a schedule trip next year earlier in the season!

Congratulations to The Soo Rocks Project on winning the 2025-2026 SMCC Championship! They end their season with a record of 6-1-1!

Not pictured member of the team, Joe Sbar, was sadly stuck at an airport due to weather but we will get a picture with all four of them asap!

Thank you everyone who came out to watch the game even with the crappy weather and another shoutout to second place Nashional Sweepers who also had a great season and ended with a record of 6-2-1!

Finally a thank you to EVERYONE who participated this year, none of this is possible without all of you! We are trying to squeeze out a few more events and will be looking at some summer events as well as getting some apparel made! So keep an eye on this page and your email inbox for updates!

Thank you to everyone who came out last Thursday to our Fundraising/Curling Watch Party event! A special thank you to Dale’s B**r and Austin’s Cigar Lounge for hosting us as well as bringing so many great things to raffle! Also a thank you to the 50/50 winner who donated the winnings to the club, this event has brought some much needed financial assistance to our club and we cannot thank everyone enough!!

Also (pending the storm) we do plan to have two games tonight at the usual 7:30-9:30 to find out the winner of our season!

Reminder for everyone in the club that we are having a fundraiser and watch party at Austin's Cigar Lounge THIS Thursday, February 12th! We will be hosting Dale's B**r the official b**r of USA Curling to help raise money for our club. Event starts at 5:30 pm and the drawings will start at 9 pm.

Must be 21 or older to attend!

Also we are looking to see who might be interested in a friendly match down in Alpena on Sunday, February 22nd! If we have a enough for a couple teams we could get a mini bonspiel going! Please send us a private message here or email the club if you are interested!
