🚨 SOO INDIANS 18U AAA – TRYOUT REMINDER 🚨

Just a reminder that our 18U AAA tryouts are coming up May 8–10 at Big Bear Arena in Sault Ste. Marie, MI.

If you’re looking for a program focused on development, exposure, and advancing to the next level, this is a great opportunity to compete and be evaluated. Every position is available for you to take!
Billeting available

📍 Big Bear Arena – Sault Ste. Marie, MI

What to expect:
• High-level competition
• Strong development environment
• Excellent Exposure opportunities to junior and college programs

Team fee includes
-travel for away weekends
-team organized meals on the road (most weekends)
-helmet, gloves, hockey bag, warm up jacket and jogger pants, winter hat.
-team practice t-w-t (4-535) each day
-off ice training
-weekly on ice skills sessions
-newly renovated locker room with personal stall
-non parent head coach and assistant coach
-strength and conditioning workout facility on site

As we embark on this exciting new chapter in Indians hockey, we are pleased to introduce head coach Doug Laprade.

A former NCAA Division I National Champion in both playing and coaching capacities, Laprade brings an impressive wealth of experience and a proven track record of success.

As a draft pick of the Los Angeles Kings, Laprade competed collegiately at Lake Superior State University during a period of unparalleled dominance.

Renowned for his composed, equitable, and player-centric approach, Laprade provides a structured environment that fosters opportunity, development, and growth for every athlete. His extensive experience, leadership acumen, and winning pedigree make him an exceptional addition to the Soo Indians.

As we capitalize on the momentum from our previous season, we are pleased to announce that preparations for our team's future success are already underway. One of the updates we are currently working on is the remodel of our locker room.
