2506 miles in 48 hours and 11 min. Left Friday at 7am and home just after 7am today.

MN->VA->MN stopped for 3 hrs to sleep, and 3 hrs to unload and load.

Left with one mustang and came home with another!!!

Picked up a 14 Boss 302 racecar. This will be one hell of a NASA American Iron car, after a ton of time putting it together and finishing it up. The car is a fresh slate with just a cage. Has an 5.0 coyote and a t-56 Tranzilla in the bed along with a lot of other parts to put into this thing.

Keep an eye out for updates! This will be an awesome experience building this car from ground up!

Also huge thank you to my lovely wife Cindy Gratke for coming with me on this last minute adventure, always being supportive of my racing addiction, and helping drive there in back.

We don’t just Race!!

Thursday November 2nd I became a Motorsports Safety Foundation Level 2 accredited Driving Instuctor.

This is a huge achievement!

I’m where I am today after just over a year in the car because of some amazing instructors!!! They not only teach you how to drive, how to be safe, and how to be aware in the car and on track. They become great friends, and are a huge part of the driving and racing community!!!

I’m super excited to give back to the racing/driving community. To teach new drives to have fun and be safe on track. Most of all meet new people and create new friends!

Let’s keep this sport growing. If you’re interested in getting out on track I highly recommend it! Doesn’t matter if it’s a sports car or commuter. I’ve seen everything from vipers to smart cars on the track. Let get you out there to have some fun and be safe!

The 2023 Racing season has come to an end!

Wow!!! What an amazing year it has been! From getting my competition license in May, finishing 5th at nationals in Sept, and ending the season with a 1st place finish, winning the regional championship in Spec Iron and being runner up in American Iron.

Not to mention getting NASA MidAmerica’s Rookie of the year!! Which I am so grateful for!! It’s been a lot of hard work. Learning all the time about driving, racing, and wrenching.

When I started this in April of last year I never knew how far this would go, or how big of an addiction it would become. The constant chase for the best finish. An investment of time, between weekends at the track, or the weekends home working on the car. The cost of everything that comes with racing. Tires, fuels, and events. But the biggest thing it has become is an adventure. We’ve crossed the country to go to new tracks from Pittsburgh, to Kentucky . We’ve met some of the greatest people from racing. The NASA community is truly a big family!!!

Lastly, I could never do this without my family . My wife and kids that travel with me every weekend track to track! Always cheering me on. They are my biggest supporters, and the best pit crew! With out them and their support this dream would have never become a reality!!!!

Future Racecar Driver in training!

This boy did an amazing job being at the track for a week without his siblings. With all the noises, no naps, and long days. This little man turned 8 months old track side!
