🏁 **WOW, WHAT A SEASON!** 🏁
To say this season has been incredible would be an understatement! It has been one heck of a busy year for the Ely family, filled with racing, hard work, learning, and plenty of memories along the way. ❤️🏁
🏎️ **BRENT ELY – CLYDE MARTIN MEMORIAL SPEEDWAY**
We wrapped up a total of **14 races** at Clyde Martin Memorial Speedway, and what a season it was!
🏁 12 Top 10 finishes
🏁 10 Top 5 finishes
🏁 An incredible **7 second-place finishes!**
We couldn't be prouder of the consistency and hard work Brent put into this season!
🏆 **HENRY ELY – OREVILLE KART CLUB**
This is where things really got busy, but we wouldn't have it any other way! We had an absolute blast, and Henry accomplished something very special this year — **his FIRST CHAMPIONSHIP!** 🏆❤️
Henry was determined to show us just how much he wanted to race. He worked hard on his lines, listened to Brent's advice on where to run, and continued improving throughout the season. Watching him get down to a **14.3-second lap** was something we were all incredibly proud of!
He showed us that he's ready to take on the next chapter of his racing journey, and that means we're going **DIRT RACING NEXT YEAR!** 🤘🏁
Henry will be moving up to the Junior class, which means plenty of preparation and maintenance this winter to get everything ready. Stay tuned for more details on how you can help support Henry as he takes on this exciting new adventure! Every bit of support means so much to our family.
🏎️ **BRENT – OREVILLE SR. MASTERS**
Brent wrapped up the season **2nd in points** in the Sr. Masters class!
We had quite the year with this new kart, but we kept working at it and finally got everything dialed in toward the end of the season. We always have a great time racing alongside our buddy Tim Mast, and we're already looking forward to more fun at the track!
🏁 **BURDZ BOYS RACING – SR. MICROSTOCK**
Partway through the season, Brent was given the opportunity to run the Sr. Microstock class for Harry and Lorie Burd with Burdz Boys Racing.
We cannot thank Harry and Lorie enough for trusting Brent with this opportunity! He finished **5th in points** for their team, and we're grateful to have been part of the experience. Thank you both for your support and for welcoming Brent into the program!
📣 **NOW FOR THE BIG NEWS!**
Some of you may have already seen this on Brent's personal page, but we're officially sharing our plans for next season!
Brent has decided to take a step back from running the 600 Micro Sprint full-time next year. **He is NOT retiring, and he is NOT selling anything!** He will still get behind the wheel of the 600 whenever he can, and we'll decide which races make the most sense as the season unfolds.
Our focus will be shifting a little as we take on this next chapter with Henry.
Here's what we're considering for next year:
🏁 **Fridays:** Possibly Linda's Speedway with the 600 or Snydersville Raceway so Henry can race his kart.
🏁 **Saturdays:** Racing at Shellhammers Speedway.
🏁 **Sundays:** Back at Oreville Kart Club, although we're still figuring out how many karts we'll be running!
We don't have every detail ironed out just yet, but one thing is certain — **the racing isn't stopping!** We're simply changing things up, making memories, and helping Henry take the next step in his racing journey while Brent continues racing whenever possible.
