Established in 1973, National Karate is Minnesota's largest professional karate and self-defense school. Over fifty thousand Minnesotans of all ages have been benefited from NK training which combines ancient eastern martial arts methods with state-of-the-art training tools designed to help prepare students for the challenge of modern America. kee, WI. All National Karate Schools are staffed by professional instructors who are concerned for your progress, safety, and personal development. Our instructors receive ongoing training, both in the martial arts and in best practice teaching methods. NK self-defense programs have been conducted at Augsburg College, The Boys and Girls Clubs, General Mills, Best Buy, Nash-Finch, and dozens of child care centers and public and private schools. Our organization is like a tight-knit family. All National Karate instructors and owners earned their black belts through our through our testing process. They are part of one of the largest martial arts organizations in the mid-west. Our instructors take pride in the quality of their students. From 1973 to present day, the quality of our black belts is second to none. Many of our students and instructors are nationally and world rated competitors in the North American Sport Karate Association.

Rank Acceleration Day 3 Complete✅

Today is Day 4, our last day!

Yesterday we started out with some laps around the building and a couple cardio drills outside. Once we moved back inside, we did some core exercises. We also worked on forms, marching basics, and pad strikes. At the end the students teamed up to play some dodgeball!

Day 2 of Rank Acceleration Complete✅

Moving onto day 3 today!

Yesterday we started out with a warm up in the classroom. After that, we moved outside to do some more cardio. Once we were done outside, we talked about what respect looks like towards the classroom, the instructors, and yourself. Before we had our snack break we also talked about self defense strikes and their targets. We also worked on pad strikes and regular punch defenses. Then we finished the day with combinations and form!

Rank Acceleration Day 1 Complete✅

Today we drilled some kicking basics, along with lots of cardio outside! We also focused on stances and shifting before we moved onto snack. After the refreshing snack break we got started on everybody’s forms.

Be sure to remember to bring water and tennis shoes the rest of the week!👟

We can’t wait to see everyone tomorrow!
