Lake Champlain showed me both sides of tournament fishing this week.

After opening with 19 pounds, 1 ounce, I couldn’t keep that momentum rolling. I brought 10 pounds, 10 ounces to the scale on Day 2, finishing with 29-11 and a 76th-place result.

That one stings, but the hard days reveal exactly where the work needs to happen. I’ll take the lessons, sharpen the edges, and be ready when the next opportunity comes.

The comeback starts now. 🎣🔥

Five fish. 19 pounds, 1 ounce. Tied for 18th.

It was a strong start, but Lake Champlain won’t let you live off yesterday’s weight. Day 2 is a brand-new hunt, and I’m heading back out looking for the bites that can take me from being in the mix to becoming a threat.

Yesterday opened the door. Today, it’s time to walk through it. 🎣👊

That’s Lake Champlain, and today the search begins. Day 1 of the MLF Tackle Warehouse Pro Circuit is all about staying loose, following my instincts, and being ready when the lake shows its hand.

Somewhere out there is the bag we’re looking for. Time to go find it! 🔍🎣

Lake Eufaula is in the books.

I brought 11 lbs. 2 oz. to the scales on Day 2, giving me a two-day total of 15 lbs. 7 oz. and a 94th-place finish for the event.

This week definitely had its challenges. There were plenty of fish around, but finding the right ones proved to be the difference. That’s just part of tournament fishing. Some weeks everything falls into place, and other weeks you’re reminded how much there still is to learn.

Even so, I’m leaving Eufaula with a grateful heart. Every tournament is an opportunity to grow—not just as an angler, but as a person. I’m thankful for the chance to compete, thankful for everyone who supports me, and most of all thankful for the blessings God continues to provide.

No matter what the leaderboard says, I consider myself blessed to spend my days on the water, meet great people, and share my faith along the way.

We’ll take the lessons from this one, keep working, and get ready for the next stop.

God is good, all the time. 🎣🙏

Day 2 is here, and things are definitely looking a little different than they did yesterday. Changing conditions can make for a tough day on the water, but that’s fishing. You adjust, keep your head down, and go to work.

No matter what the weather does or what the fish decide to do, one thing never changes—God is good all the time. I’m thankful for another day to be out here doing what I love, competing against some of the best, and enjoying His creation.

Time to get after it and see what this day has in store. Let’s go fishing.

Tournament fishing has given me the opportunity to visit incredible places, meet amazing people, and chase a dream that I never take for granted. But the greatest blessing isn’t catching fish, it’s having the opportunity to share what God has done in my life and tell others about Jesus along the way.

The fishing may have had its ups and downs today, but God’s goodness never changes. Whether the bites come easy or the day is a grind, I’m thankful to be out here doing what I love and using this platform for something bigger than myself.

I’m blessed to have a family that supports me, sponsors who believe in me, and friends who encourage me. Most importantly, I’m thankful for a Savior who continues to guide my steps both on and off the water.

We’ll get ready for Day 2 and see what tomorrow brings. No matter the outcome, I’m grateful for every opportunity to compete, catch fish, and share the hope that can only be found in Jesus Christ.

God is good. Always. 🎣🙏

One thing about this lake is there are plenty of fish around. The challenge isn't getting bites—it's finding the right ones. Separating yourself from the crowd and putting together five quality fish can make all the difference.

Practice gave me a little confidence, but now it's time to see if I can put the pieces together when it counts. The weather looks a little different than it did during practice, so anything can happen.

Most importantly, God is good, and I'm thankful for the opportunity to be out here doing what I love. Excited to get this tournament started and see what the day brings.
