Outdoor eyewear is more than just sun protection—it's a system designed around vision, movement, and the environment. Lens color, polarization, contrast, and light conditions all influence how we see the world around us.

Introducing KES Summer Camp: Early Explorers for ages 4–7!

This summer, young learners will discover what makes outdoor recreation possible through hands-on exploration, movement, and play. Each week features a different outdoor activity as students explore our KES Framework: Kinesiology, Engineering, and Sustainability.

🧗 Session 1: Climbing | July 27–31
🌊 Session 2: Rafting | August 3–7

Hosted at Desert Montessori School in Santa Fe.

Let's consider the following:
• synthetic materials used in outdoor recreation

• biomechanics and movement
• why performance wear is stitched to move with the body
• moisture management, quick-dry fabrics, and temperature regulation

Fabric choice affects comfort, movement, durability, and performance. Every garment is the result of movement science, engineering, material design, and a global supply chain.

In the outdoors, and in life, what looks like an obstacle is often just a question waiting for a creative answer. Uncertainty becomes a training ground for decision-making. A steep climb becomes a lesson in pacing, resilience, and strategy.
