We will be putting on an Ocean Survival Course in Santa Cruz October 10th, 11th and 12th, Columbus Weekend.

We are excited to be working alongside of to give us a deep dive into apnea practices on land, in the pool as well as in the ocean. We are also working with to bring you certifications in First Aid and CPR.

As part of training staff, will be covering ocean rescue and risk management techniques in both the pool and ocean as well as techniques for staying alive in the heaviest waves on the planet

More information coming to you over the next few months. Tag 3 friends who would be interested for first access into this class. We will be limiting the class size to 20 spots to make it a very personalized experience.

Vinaka Fiji

An unexpected last minute trip turned into an incredible deep dive into one of the greatest places on earth. I would like to thank Chris for letting me tag along with long time friend Cramer to explore one of the true wonders of the world. Since the days of watching Bruce Brown’s Endless Summer II with my dad as a kid, it has been a dream of mine to come to this magical utopia and experience all that it has to offer.

A special thank you to Seth, Ili, Tala Dan and family for hosting us and the incredible experience. Also big thank you to great friend and photographer for capturing lots of photos which I will be sharing in the weeks to come.

This particular session was a special one for me. The long range forecast had been showing some large surf and I was excited to have a look at Thunder Cloud. On the day of the swell, the wind was rather tricky to navigate and a few things were off but I was able to grab a few paddle waves on my KO designs 6’6 and get a feel for the lineup. After catching a few waves, came over and offered me a few step offs so big thank you to him for getting me in the spot on a few.

I was blown away by the expansive playing field that is Cloudbreak and can only imagine what this wave looks like when it is truly massive. I hope to be back sometime in the not so distant future. More to come via Substack soon 🤙
