2nd place across the Kaiwi Channel - a huge accomplishment and a reflection of the hard work, dedication, and passion Steeve brings to the sport every single day. 🌊🤙Crossing the Channel is built on trust. Trust your preparation, trust your equipment, trust your team, and most importantly, trust yourself.
Beyond the results, Steeve continues to be a leader, mentor, and role model for so many paddlers. He leads by example, inspires the next generation, and constantly motivates those around him to push a little harder and dream a little bigger.

Congratulations on another incredible Molokaʻi finish, Steeve. The paddling community is better because of people like you. Let’s keep going brother 👏🏽🏆🌺

Yesterday was a big day for everyone at the Kaiwi Channel Crossing 🌊

Huge congratulations to all the paddlers who took on the channel yesterday. It was a major accomplishment earned through months of training, discipline, and time on the water.

Miles Orr gave it everything he had for the win 🏆🩵💛 fighting it out till the very end.

Steeve Teihotaata finished in 2nd, with Ryland Hart charging into 3rd 💪 all three crossing the line within 12 seconds of each other. Always wild to think about after crossing an entire channel together, pushing each other the whole way, for it to come down to just seconds at the finish line.

One of the coolest parts about this sport is seeing athletes push each other, train together, and continue to raise the level year after year. The field was stacked with paddlers from around the world 🌍 This is the kind of race that has home clubs, new clubs, and paddlers everywhere rooting for each other. Iron sharpens iron ⚔️

More race updates, stories, and good times to come! Big thank you to for putting together another safe crossing for everyone.

Special Thank you to for guiding the team + and for getting these guys home safely ❣️🙏

Respect to every paddler who made the crossing yesterday. What a day for the sport and community.❤️

Kapiolani Park for the May Day Festival 🌺

Special day sharing the koa canoe Leilani with keiki from local schools, with Johnny and his dad there to talk story, share knowledge, and pass on the culture behind the canoe.

Days like these keep it all moving forward for the next generation. 🤙🌺
