Coastal Riptide Fall Ball — Weekly Roundup
Another weekend is in the books, and as we head toward the final stretch of the regular season, the picture is starting to become a lot clearer, and in some divisions, somehow even more confusing. 😂
We’ve got teams fighting for playoff positioning, players putting together some ridiculous stat lines, and championships now officially on the horizon. Let’s get into it!
⭐ ALL-STAR WEEKEND IS HERE!
While the 14U and 18U divisions continue their push toward the playoffs, our 10U and 12U leagues will take a break from regular-season action this weekend for the Coastal Riptide Fall Ball All-Star Games!
Invited players will get the opportunity to participate in three special events throughout the weekend:
⚾ Home Run Derby — Step to the plate and see who can send one the farthest.
🥇 Golden Glove Competition — A chance for our best defenders to show off their skills around the diamond.
⭐ All-Star Game — The weekend culminates with our 10U and 12U All-Star Games, bringing together some of the top players from around the league.
It's always one of my favorite weekends of Fall Ball because it gives these players a chance to compete alongside kids they may not normally play with, represent their teams, and celebrate the work they've put in throughout the season.

🏆 10U
The 10U division continues to deliver, and this weekend was no exception.
⭐ Players of the Weekend
Hayden Jenkins had himself quite the weekend, going 3-for-3 with a double, while also taking the mound for three innings. He allowed just two hits and struck out seven.
Bryce Nantel was dominant on the mound, throwing 4.2 innings with 10 strikeouts, while allowing three runs.
Sawyer Praise contributed at the plate, going 1-for-2 with 2 RBI and a run scored.
Colton Graffam also turned in a strong pitching performance, throwing one inning, allowing one hit and striking out three.
🏆 10U Championship Set!
The Mountaineers punched their ticket to the championship game with a win over CR Borelli and will face CR Honigfeld on October 17th.
Honigfeld earned their spot with an 8-6 victory over CR Baron in what was easily one of the best games of the weekend.
The Mountaineers are 2-0 against Coach Honigfeld’s squad this season, but that record doesn't tell the whole story. One of those games was a one-run battle that could have gone either way.
So, if you're looking for some Saturday morning baseball, come on out!

⚾ 12U
The 12U division has officially reached the postseason, and the regular season has given us exactly what we hoped for — competitive baseball and plenty of teams with a legitimate shot at making a championship run.
⭐ Picks of the Weekend
Austin Clithero went 3-for-4 with 2 RBI and played a solid second base.
Owen Joslyn contributed on the mound, throwing 2.1 innings with 2 strikeouts.
And there was plenty more offensive firepower throughout the division:
Hunter Jenkins: 2-for-5, 5 RBI, 1 HR
Lawson: 1 hit, 2 RBI in a big spot
Carter Morgridge: 5-for-7, 2 HR
Theo Beliveau: 1 HR
Leighton Chandavong: 2.1 IP, 1 hit, 0 earned runs, 5 K
James Galuppo: 3 IP, 1 ER, 4 K
Wyatt Palmiter: 2 IP, 5 K, 0 runs
Will Whittaker: 1 IP, 1 K
That's a lot of baseball.

The two remaining teams will meet in the 12U Championship on October 24th.
At this point, there are no more “we'll see how the standings shake out” conversations. It's officially win-or-go-home baseball.
⚾ 14U
The 14U division had another strong weekend, with plenty of big offensive performances, timely hitting, and solid work on the mound.
⭐ Weekend Standouts
John Veinott delivered one of the biggest hits of the weekend, coming through with a three-run triple to help CR Bourque secure an 11-6 victory over CR Donaldson.
Michael “Big Mike” Bogacz went 2-for-2 with a walk and an RBI in Game 1, then added two solid innings of relief in Game 2.
Brody Hebert, Dylan Roy, Brooks Reed, Parker Bourque, and Parker Meserve each drove in a run in Game 1.
Parker Bourque earned the win on the mound in Game 1, throwing three strong innings.
Sargent Welch, Michael Bogacz, and Wyatt Fagen each recorded multi-hit games.
Dylan Roy earned the win on the mound, while Bogacz added two innings of relief.
Wyatt Fagen and Declan Provencal split catching duties and both contributed defensively.

Colton Branscombe: 2-for-3, 2 doubles, 4 runs, 3 RBI, 5 stolen bases
Finley Spalding: 4-for-4, 2 doubles, 3 RBI
E. Lentz: 2 IP, 1 ER, 1 K — earned the win

Hitting: Dylan Anderson — 4-for-6, 4 RBI, 4 runs scored
Pitching: Noah Irons — 3.1 IP, 1 hit
🔥 One Week Left
The 14U division has one more week of regular-season baseball, and teams are fighting for positioning and trying to give themselves the best possible chance to make it to Championship Sunday.

⚾ 18U
If you like competitive baseball, you better be paying attention to the 18U division.
This has been our most competitive league all season, and with just one week remaining, four teams are still within two games of first place.
Sunday afternoons have been a blast to watch, and the final regular-season weekend should be a doozy.
⭐ Players of the Weekend
Trent Tyler put together an absolutely ridiculous day, going 4-for-4 with 6 RBI, including doubles and a triple.
Baxter Flagg was right there with him, going 5-for-6 with 4 RBI and 3 doubles.
Wesley Turnbull: 4-for-5, 3 RBI
John Galuppo: 6-for-6, 2 RBI, double
Luke Eaton: Complete-game shutout and 3-for-3 with two doubles in Game 1.
DJ Kelly: 2-for-2 with a stolen base and an RBI in Game 2, providing basically the only offense his team had in the game.
On the mound:
Cooper Joy: 5 IP, 1 ER, 6 K, 1 BB
Tyler Emerson: 2 shutout innings, 5 K in just 6 batters faced. He also went 3-for-6 with 2 RBI across two games.
Sebastian Bisson stepped onto the mound for the first time in his career and recorded 2 strikeouts, while throwing nearly 50% strikes. That's what Fall Ball is about — getting players opportunities to try something new and develop their game.
And finally, sometimes you don't need a giant stat line.
Holden LePauloue drove in the only run of the game in a tight 1-0 victory.

🏁 ONE WEEK TO GO...
The regular season is officially entering its final stretch.
Some teams have already punched their ticket to championship games. Others are fighting for playoff positioning. And for several teams, next weekend could be the difference between watching Championship Sunday and playing on it.
That's exactly what we wanted when we started this season.
Competitive baseball. Player development. New opportunities. And, hopefully, a few memories that these kids will still be talking about long after Fall Ball is over.
